Review Burger King - Portales

Got food from here on Friday June 3rd at around noon. I ordered a medium combo meal and it was almost $12 dollars, which is ridiculous because the fries were the only thing fresh about the meal. Burger patties? Old. Cheese? Old. Burger buns? Old. Even the drink tasted watered down. In addition to that, the employee who served my food was clearly sick, and she was coughing all over the place and not covering her mouth. After being in a two-year pandemic, I would think people had enough sense to wear a face mask, cover their mouths when they cough, or not go to work if they can afford it. I know the last option isn’t feasible for everyone. So if you got food from this location around lunch time on June 3rd…get tested for COVID and start talking cold medicine.

Do yourself a favor and go to McDonald's across the street. I bought a crisply chicken sandwich meal, and it was dreadful. The chicken batter was dark brown, and the chicken was dry as can be. I don't know how long they leave those chicken sandwiches under a hot lamp or sitting out, but I am never going there again. Bonus, the Dr. Pepper was out or low so I basically got a cup of carbonated water. That's my fault, I should have tried it before I got to work. Nothing like spending $10 for medium fries. The McDonald's across the street is not fine dining but at least a 3-star.

The sandwich was great but the cheese was stuck to the paper us it real cheese or poured on? But it was good that new flat burger 2 slices of meat great with onions and bacon it was like a round party melt with bacon it was good. It gets a 10

Whoever owns or runs this place should be ashamed. You are charging people for slop. I believe the whopper is the best fast food burger, but not from this location. This place has been trash for years but somehow it seems to get worse. When will corporate step in and fix or close thise place. What a shame.

I always get the drive through. And with my how I’ve been working it’s always before they close With the new night menu I could understand why it’s there but I’ve always ordered the same thing. The first time I got the closest thing to what I eat there all the time they didn’t even have enough to make it for me Before that they started with a policy to stop making things at 10 like coffee. I talked to staff and they were also not impressed with those decisions by their corporate or the management

People were nice. They allowed us to order a cheeseburger and fries during breakfast hour to take to someone actually needing s lunch and not a breakfast so that was appreciated. We also ordered a croissant. It was not made as we had ordered it other than that I would have rated a 4. Food was fresh and delivered in a timely manner.

There’s a reason the business here is slow and there’s not much traffic at their drive through… consistently bad in many realms. If I decide to make a bad decision and get fast food I tend to like BK over others… well not in Portales. But I tried….maybe in 6 months I’ll try again.

Went by on Friday afternoon before Memorial Day. Wouldn’t take credit, and were out of soft drink, fries, and just about everything else. When asked why, they gave a reason that made no sense. They should’ve just put the “closed” sign.
