Iron Skillet

I just have a craving for biscuits and gravy and fry chicken. Honestly, it's a 5. Everything is nicely done and the price is good. The service great. They are attached to a convenience store. Everything is good. Pancakes and French Toast average. Overall, good food good price. Biscuit is above average. Must try.

4 of us went there to eat lunch. Of the 4 meals ordered, 2 were ice cold...after we'd wait a VERY long time for the food to be brought out. Also, the burgers were bland. A man walked in with a DOG (not a service dog) and was allowed to order food & dine in! Then, the lady in the back kitchen kept yelling and we all heard her in the dining room. I won't be returning any time soon.

Me and my fiance hopped in the car and came from all the way across New Jersey just to stop at this place to have an early dinner, something we do sporadically, kind of like a bucket list or so to say. I'm so glad that he brought me here, he's originally from out this way and I am not but he wanted to share this place with me, and if this isn't such a fabulous little hole in the wall type place I don't know what else is, you walk in, you could sit yourself, they have some good tunes on the radio, you're immediately made aware of, The Host, waitress, who had taken our orders, was the nicest person ever, she went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and had everything we needed before our meal up until we left, it gets busy, which is a great thing, the seats are actually set up so even if it is busy it doesn't feel like you're in a crowded place, it has a very nice atmosphere to it, everybody is friendly here, everyone smiles at each other or gives a little wave, it's a very family-oriented place and the food is amazing, it's almost like a country style buffet type taste, like a old home cooked meal that your mother with me and it was just simply wonderful, we ordered a lot of food actually and we shared a little bit of everything and the price, is amazing, you really can't beat it and I can't complain one bit I'm so glad that my fiance brought me here because I will always remember it and I highly recommend you giving it a try. Ps. That gravy tho.... For the mashed potatoes is AMAZZZZiiiiiiiiNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!! LIKE OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD! I SWEAR..... I COULD OF JUST ATE THAT AND I DO NOT LIKE GRAVY ... BUT THAT..... MMM MMM MMM

Went in and waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged, found our own menus, and waited for 20 minutes before being asked what we'd like to drink. Waited another 10 minutes to order our food. Ordered biscuits & gravy, two eggs, bacon, and French toast. Finally received my coffee, thank goodness because it took another 45 minutes to receive my food. However the other customers made for good company.

My family has always loved it here. But we were so disappointed that the salad bar is no longer there. The food is still good and the prices are reasonable. But it's not the same. Also I felt really sorry for our waitress. There were so many tables and she was by herself and also had to bus the tables.
