Review Pizza Ranch Portage - Portage

Came. Seen. And ate like kings. Lots of choice for the buffet from salad bar to chicken and taters to obviously pizza. Not best selection of pizzas but a nice verity. There is also a desert bar with free ice cream. The service was very friendly and welcoming. They collected our dishes really quickly. Would recommend.

If I could I would give this place zero stars. Ordered a meal tonight. Waited almost two hours for our food and when we finally did get it the whole order wasn't there and then they fed us some lies and bologna about how they were so busy and if we wanted our soda and the plates we asked for we would have to come pick it up or wait an entire hour to get the rest of our order. We are staying in a hotel for the night. How are we supposed to eat our food with no plates. The worker and manager were awful and all they would offer us is a five dollar credit for a 92.00 Order. The manager had noting but excuses and the delivery man lied to us. He said he would bring the soda and plates back and now We are being told it will be qn hour or we have to pick it up. Lousey service! Will not order from them again for delivery. Have never had such a problem before. Usually they are good but tonight they were not for the customer. They were for themselves

There's a lot of food on the floor around the salabar, the chicken was not out only 4 pieces they had out were all really dry and you had to wait 15 to 20 minutes before they had fresh chicken out. The pizza was hard. I will be back at all. Fell sorry for the people who live there.

We always stop here going up North. Very courteous, fresh food, and the best fried chicken. They Observe ALL Veterans!!

So we show up expecting a nice dinner. Are met with all these extra procedures for covid which is totally fair but they could have told us before we paid. The pizza out on the buffet was cold, the broccoli pizza smells and looks rancid, chicken was cold and had been sitting out so long it was burnt from heat tray underneath. Got a refund but still very disappointed

The two people working the front on Saturday night were awesome! We came in 30 min before buffet close and were greeted with open arms as they asked us if we would like any certain kind of pizza. They made sure there was fresh pizza on the buffet all the way up until close. I was assuming it was going to be picked through, however it is clear that your employees value customers. They deserve a small raise.

The food is reeeeally good. I’ve had the best ice cream ever in that restaurant. Recommendation for everyone and I’ll come back from NJ for sure ❤️

This was the best pizza buffet we have been to, yet. The best part about everything was their amazing employee, Steve. He made our visit a memory that we will never forget. Wouldn’t recommend any other place if you’re hungry for some pizza and wanting great customer service.

I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoy Portage Pizza Ranch...the staff are very helpful, friendly,thoughtful and kind...The food is hot, the salad bar has all fresh salad makings, the food is delicious and plentiful...It is a very relaxing place to dine...Retiree's from Columbia County Home meet there annually and the staff are vey accommodating. Our thanks to all the staff who make this possible you are very much appreciated

I absolutely love this Pizza Ranch! Sherriff Steve was so personable he really made our visit special! The food was hot and fresh and plates were cleaned off in a timely manner. If you are looking for great food, at a descent price with great customer service then this is the place for you! Ps we need one in the northwest suburbs of IL! Please lol

Went to pizza ranch in portage. Had a ton of floaties in my drink. Went to the front and said there's floaties in my drink. Could I just get a to go cup I don't want to drink from dirty glasses. She said all it is is carbon. She gave me a regular cup to replace. 2nd cup tons of floaties again. She must of seen me taking a picture of my drink cause she came right over with a to go cup and said something about needing to flush there lines. Maybe listen to the customer and fix the problem and not try and make them sound stupid when they are right when you have something wrong with your drinks.

Food was great, "Sheriff" Steve was friendly, and they have a history of blessing our nation's veterans (I was veteran number 941 to receive it). Wonderful place to take your family!

We stopped into the Pizza Ranch in Portage, WI. We always stop here when within 50 miles of it. Sheriff Steve, Jen and the entire crew were very pleasant, friendly, and efficient. The place was spotless (wish all Pizza Ranches could learn from this fine example). Sheriff Steve and staff helped us celebrate our mom's 102nd birthday. Food was excellent, plentiful, and all fresh. Another great visit. Thanks again for another wonderful experience.

Coming from Chicago, pizza capital of the world, I loved it! Started with a great salad, nice and fresh, had a couple different pizzas including a BLT and it was wonderful!

Our aunt took 8 of the family to Pizza Ranch for lunch. When we arrived, I questioned how good this restaurant was going to be because it was 1230 on a Saturday and the parking lot was pretty empty. The staff was very helpful in helping our 95 year-old father to his seat and making him comfortable. The food was excellent; all of us made repeat trips for more food. The pizza was wonderful, with so many varieties. The real surprise was the fried chicken; we all agreed that it was out of this world. The selection of food was awesome. The dessert pizzas were incredible. The staff was very quick to clear plates from the table. The price, the quality and the service make this establishment a place to frequent again.

We just had our first experience with Portage Pizza Ranch and to say it failed to meet our expectations is an understatement. We waited in line for quite a while after the second cashier walked away with quite a line. Once we finally paid we walked around to find not one table was open. After walking back up to the counter and asking for a refund (mind you we have 3 children who were upset because they were excited to eat there and we were going out to dinner as a family that happens maybe once a month) I asked why they were selling more dinners since there was no place to eat? Not only did they not give me a reason, but they continued to take orders without notifying anyone of the delayed seating. It appeared that getting the money in was more important than taking care of the restaurant or the customers. Doubt we will ever return to this restaurant again. Thankfully it wasn't our first Pizza Ranch experience as I wouldn't go to any location after that service had it been.

Sheriff Steve and the gang at the Portage Pizza Ranch are great! Service is outstanding! Food is delicious! We brought 13 family members today and everyone was satisfied. We'll be back...again...and again.

I personally haven't eaten here but my parents did and they loved it. I wanted to pass along how much a appreciate that you honored my dad as a Veteran.
