Review Burger King - Portage

This is like a trade off of them being quick, and very polite, the food is always fresh. Except for these weird scenarios I and a few other people I know have come across multiple times. Most of the time you roll through here, it’s super fast, your food is prepared well and it’s a good experience. Sometimes though, you order an 8 piece jalapeño cheddar bites and get 5 jalapeño cheddar bites and a presumably 8 hour old hashbrown bite. It still tastes good, I still ate that 8 hour old hashbrown bite. I’ll still go back to this place too because they’re still the best Burger King in the area. The rest of my food was 10/10, fresh fries, a pair of very well assembled burgers, which pains me to say is a very rare occurrence at any other place but this Burger King must have a person on the sandwich board who takes a lot of pride in making sure your burger looks like the one on the screen, which I appreciate immensely rather than getting a burger from the one in lake station which looked like it was assembled from a shot put line to 40 meters away.

The drive thru cashier is impatient and doesn't listen to your order. Along with waiting 10 minutes for 2 original chicken sandwiches that look like this! What happened to the lettuce and mayonnaise?

Almost every time I go, I ask for extra mayo, ketchup and pickles... They dont give me extra anything, if any at all... guess I need to find a different Burger King.

If you are not open shut your outside lights off. Went during the day and would not even take my order. This happened several times. If you all don't want to work then go home. Lazy people!!! Will never go again. I would tell you what I ordered but you never answered.. several people working in the afternoon but too freaking lazy.

So upset with my service. Spoke with Skye and the manager Austin in regards to my undercooked meal, just for them to to trash talk me through the phone. When they realized they were not muted, they hung up. Please, do NOTTTTT waste your money. Killed my whole mood today.

I went there at 10:30 and they close at 12 and no one answered the drive threw intercom. We say there for 10 min. The least they could’ve done is say it would be a min and not just ignore us. There was also two other cars behind us. Get the stuff together my dudes.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!! Didn’t have anything I ordered, coke machine not working nor ice cream machine. Still waited almost 40 minutes in line for NOTHING! This place is HORRIBLE and should be shut down. Manager stated he only had one worker besides himself, not my problem but he was not accommodating at ALL! I wish I could give 0 stars!

Drive thru had vomit under the window this morning. Cashier said they have a company come every 2 WEEKS to clean!! I said, Needs to be once a shift, Then she gets Mad at me. Skinny peroxide blond with tattoos. AVOID THIS PIT!

This Burger King can’t understand no salt on fries, they were disgusting! All manager offered was to come back for no salt fries! Customer service is bad!

Whoever is working the specialty boards doesn't care. The management needs to make sure the team is actually remaking the food properly and not just resetting timers. You aren't fooling anyone. The chicken fries are terrible they are so dark they look like they have been refried multiple times. They also forget putting sauce in the bag. This is the worst fast food place to eat in portage by far.

Worst burger king in NWI... neck and neck with the Lake Station location. Terrible staff and food. Cold fries, things refried in old grease... the type of place you'd expect to find a half eaten tomato on your burger and the staff have zero remorse. They have an attitude if you complain. I also know they exploit a mentally handicapped individual that works there. They put this person on the schedule multiple days a week, let them come in to clean the bathroom, dump trash, then claim they are over labor and send them home....ALL THE TIME. It's disgusting how far management has let this location go downhill!

The fries were cold. My burger had half piece of bacon. There was no Carmel sauce 4 my sundae. Don't like the one in lake station

I only stopped at Burger King because it was on my way and I knew they had icees. I don't like the food but oh well I hadn't eaten all day. I asked if I could get a original chicken sandwich large onion rings and a large icee as a meal. She even asked if I waned zesty sauce for my onion rings. When I got home instead of onion rings I had cold French fries. I called the manager to express my disappointment with cold fries and the order not being checked. He said he said I could DRIVE back and and my onion rings....really that's the answer waste more or my time gas for burger kings mistake. Take responsibility I paid for goods ad services that I did not get and your solution was not acceptable. When I do need to grab something quick it will not be at Burger King.

I'd give 0 stars if possible! When there's an issue they become assholez and act like your lying or at fault

I swear I have no idea why I even bother getting food from here. Every time my fries are cold and over cooked and you can't get a simple order right ever. You had one job and failed at it. This is why minimum wage will never be at $15, for you to fuck our food up even more.

This place has the WORST MANAGER! AMANDA, got shitty with me when I complained and then told me to shut up or she would call the police. Like wtf, I'm a paying costumer and you are a MANAGER. I will not be returning to a place that employs people who treat their paying customers like garbage!

$14 order and four fuck-ups. Apparently when the GM goes home for the weekend, the night crew stops giving a shit about customers.
