Review Wendy's - Portage

Order was wrong, ordered a cheeseburger and somehow never got a bun with that burger. Often doesn't follow posted hours and items not available. Attempted to resolve the issue with my burger but they could never be bothered to reply.

A decent Wendy's location. This location still had a bit of the old school look on the inside which I liked. Had a chicken sandwich, it was VERY good. Much better than most other places chicken sandwiches. I wanted to try the strawberry frosty but it was out. Chocolate is still as good as ever.

The tables were dirty, no napkins, ketchup, and the soda machine only had 2 options to choose from, water or diet Fanta ... no one mentioned the machine was out of nearly everything or I would have passed on the meal let alone getting a Large. When both of the ketchup pumps were empty and asked for ketchup , she handed me 2 packets for our entire order.... whatever... and 4 napkins, 1 per person. I ended up finding 3 packets on a dirty table, hey, we needed them!! What the heck is going on up there? My last visit was much much better, food and service wise. I could hear the employees joking about the bags of food (trash) left on the table..and other messy areas. They did nothing to clean it up. Just refilled their beverages at the soda machine speaking poorly about customers and the mess around the restaurant. Doubt we'll be back. Wish I still had the receipt.... oh wait... we weren't given one, because I would have aired my grievances there with the 800#. Sorry I had to change my previous 5 star rating to a one star. I'm writing here in hopes someone higher up can address or check in on the management of that restaurant. Thank you.

The Southwest Avocado Salads here are amazing. Now you may have a little wait in the drive thru line but well worth it as everything is made fresh. I would like to add that McDonald's still has the best fries but Wendy's is catching up, really good!

I always think Wendy's is a good idea until I get home. 50% of the time something in my order is wrong and this is hands down the slowest "fast food" restaurant in Portage. Food is good when it's correct, which is surprisingly not often enough.

This was one of the worst restaurant visits I've ever made! The place was nasty and full of food all over the floor, tables and dried soda on the tables, the burgers were cold the cheese wasn't melted, they literally got ketchup slop with some kind of brown and black stuff on the outside of my bun and the outside of my wrapper and it made a huge mess in the bag and reaching into the bag it got on my hands. Wendy's originally advertised against McDonald's with the "Where's the beef" commercials and now they don't have anything more than 1/16 lb tiny piece of cold nasty meatlike product on a cold nasty bun. I was there for 20 minutes during the lunch hour and My friend and I were the only people in this place, so a lot of people know what's up and they were so slow,, there was no legitimate reason to not clean up all the mess in the place. Disgusting!!!

Lid not put on all the way. Went all over my new sweater and my truck. Deep in the cup holder is orange soda and ice and pop all in my seat. "If they offered you a new drink and napkins there's nothing I can do" -management- manager did not apologize or even say she'd make it a coaching point for her team like I had suggested. This is my ONLY BAD FOOD REVIEW IVE EVER LEFT.

This last time was ATROCIOUS! Husband made a mistake on the order & left something off. He went INSIDE to fix the error & the chick behind the counter told him he had to go back through drive-thru which we already spent 15 minutes in because they don't take another order until the car getting served leaves the window. Totally unhelpful and awful experience. Husband said there were 4 employees just that he could see for counter and drive-thru.

New remodeling is grest and also it was nice and quick to serve and besides the food was good. This is the only fast foo restaurant i like keep it up wendys

As long as I live I will never eat at Wendy's again I brought home a drink and couldn't figure out why I couldn't get anything through the straw I opened up the cup to find a large piece of plastic in the bottom of the cup

Why cant you ever get hot food? Even when you eat it its barely warm. Uggg

Ryan is an awesome manager, Emily is a great person to work with but Ayrymys caused me to lose my cool... she kept pushing me to the edge by saying things about me in earshot. things that were not true at all. all the other managers are ok but she needs to learn to keep her mouth shut especially when she set me up to lose my job last week.

Just left there got home to findout my 2 junior bacon cheeseburger weren't in my order that i paid for called the phone # atleast 6 times rang over a min each time with no answer absolute bullshit can't even answer the phone... now that lake station & portage Wendy's that won't get my business due to multiple problems I've had

Will Not be going back!! Meat was RED still and asked for fresh fries, the guy gave us old soggy ones. Then bitched when we waited there for actual fresh ones! They didnt say absolutely nothing about the meat being red! Manager kept giving us shitty looks, then FINALLY someone else came up and gave us our money back! WILL NOT BE GOING BACK AGAIN
