Review Panera Bread - Portage

Santos The Great
Second to none in service and food quality. The managers are amazing and the staff is so kind and helpful. The military is recognized and appreciated here.

Very friendly and helpful ordering staff. I’ve had breakfast wraps a few times and really like them. The food here is a great alternative to Starbucks next door.

Always friendly staff & the place is always clean. I joined the Sip Club so I'm there almost daily inside & in drive-thru. Being a Panera you should know the prices are on the high side. My orders are always satisfying and done correctly.

Save the money and go to any other chain for better quality product and customer service without paying premium prices. Worst Panera location. Managers do not call back regarding complaints to corporate, team members have a nasty attitude and are extremely unprofessional, consistantly missing product with regards to delivery or curbside orders. We are avid Panera customers and have never had problems at any other Panera locations but this location is by far the worst when it comes to customer service from the top down. And when the GM and assistant managers set this type of unprofessional behaviour as a standard it's easy to see why their subordinates follow suit. Have over 60 dollars in corporate credits and doubt we will ever use them due to the service this location provides. Save the headache and Hassel and go else where because they simply do not care about any one that is their customers.

Excellent soups, sandwiches, bread and bakery treats! I enjoyed the Smokehouse BBQ chicken sandwich with a cup of Chicken Wild Rice soup. I took home an Almond Bear claw pastry and a Lemon Drop Sugar cookie which was amazing!

Clean, friendly. Place is always super dead inside, which I'm not complaining about but I don't know how they stay open for business but then again the drive thru stays busy. In fact, the drive thru is painfully slow. But that's a good excuse to come inside and enjoy the space! 👍🏽

Terrible. Very disappointing. Ordered two salads to go, the Spicy Thai and the Southwest. Both were full of wilted lettuce (see the image). Will never return.

First my order was stolen off of the online order shelf. Then my salad was remade and they didn't add the chicken I ordered to go with. Penara, you are too expensive to be missing parts of an order. Very disappointed. I couldn't ask them to fix my order because I was on my lunch break, running late to get back, because my order was stolen to begin with.

Very disappointed lately, I order at least if not twice weekly. This week I was in three times my Spinach Egg White Avocado Breakfast Sandwich which I have don't have cheese on, asked for extra spinach has been skimpy with spinach and I've had to look for the avocado. This isn't the first time I've had trouble, always with my mobile order, skimping on items that come on your sandwiches is noticeable to regular customers. It is inexcusable to treat any customer this way, as much as I love your food, I'm going to have to give a lot of thought of patronizing your store. Also this Breakfast Sandwich is made with a flat grain bagel not a regular grain bagel. Please tell me why this is becoming a problem, not once but three times this week, I've not received what I've ordered.

Wasn't impressed with the food but the place is big, clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. Maybe it was just what I ordered that I didn't like so you can't really go by my experience of the food.

I have been eating here since they opened. I order the strawberry poppyseed salad a lot. Tonight I ordered it for delivery and when it got here I went to pour the dressing on my salad and it was goopy, clumpy & looked like snot. It had never looked like that before. I called back and they sent me new dressing, it was exactly the same!! Gross!! I called back & spoke with Tracy who had the nerve to say " it was fine when it left here" really? Insinuating i must have done something to my OWN salad & asked for NOTHING but good dressing? I have a short video of the congealed gross lumps in it if anyone is interested. I am also saving the dressing. 34.00$ for two salads.

Ordered an asiago bagel from the drive thru, only to return home with a blueberry bagel. Stay in school young ones, learn about shapes and colors.

I came in at closing time last night and everyone one was still able to help me! Every one was very friendly and got me everything I needed for my sick little guy. They have the best cheddar broccoli soup!

I hate when I see my visit to Panera Bread in my help the community by writing a review section. We went to the new location in Portage one time and honestly I think that will be the only time we ever go there. We hear how good the bread soup bowls are. We want to try it. They were out of soup and the bread for the soup bowl. So we place a different order. Maybe I'm silly but I don't think that a half of a sandwich that is poorly grilled and an apple that my 6 yr old can palm because it's so small should cost in the $6 almost $7 dollar range. The price for my order on the board is not the same price as what is in the menu on Panera's site. A family of 4 the bill came to almost $40 and we ordered half sandwiches each because we thought the prices indicated that half the sandwich would be bigger than what it was. $40 is a good price for a family of 4 to have a dinner out its not a good price when it's not worth what you're actually getting. I realize your catering to a certain set by the dining room inhabitants. Which seems to be hipster and yuppie college students with open lap tops and snooty older women who have a yacht club style of dress to them but honestly you're only in business because of the newness and your wifi. I hope as a business you do well but as for my family if I'm going to spend $40 on a meal out my family will go to Applebee's and take advantage of the 2 for $20 special that is not only filling but there's enough to get to go containers and where they don't run out of their signature dishes offered.
