Review Nicky's Gyros - Portage

It's not Nick's, Deep Blue Sea. I have to try it again. Decent food, good service, my Po Boy wasn't made like the picture... tomatoes & jalapeños wasn't on it.

I go here a lot for the Chicago style polish and I was definitely dissatisfied this time. Not only did I get a regular polish but she literally told me there was nothing she could do because she read it back to me. The first thing I said was a Chicago Style polish with everything I even asked if that was the one with the tomatoes and all and she said yes so how did I order wrong. I will never come back to your place of business. I have ran restaurants for years and for her to not even want to help poor customer service. During times like this you need to watch out for guest and try to make sure they leave happy so reviews like this won’t be put. This is sad thanks for ruining my lunch and wasting money that I could of used on something better.

I love this place! They definitely have more than gyros! I personally love the Italian sausage/ beef combo. Perfectly seasoned! They also have beef, sausage, gyro, hot dogs, fried shrimp, chicken, and so much more. You can eat in or carry out. Inside is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly! Can't think of anything negative.

This place use to be good, and I would come here on my lunch break most days and enjoyed the "Hot" food that I could see being made on the grill while I waited. Sadly the last time I ordered from this establishment I was treated to the sight of the cook using the microwave to prepare my meal and not the grill with the sound of a frozen Italian sausage hitting the glass plate was a nice touch. I can only guess the Italian beef was made sometime this morning and was being kept warm in the bay along with the other condiments since I poked it after I got in my car I found the food lukewarm. When I got home, I decided to heat up my oven and reheat my meal that way since it had already been microwaved once and had no feeling of warmth by then.

Always a great place to go eat rather its to go or dine in. The workers are always pleasant the prices are fair and food is always fresh so you do have at least a 10 minutes wait. But well worth it.

Used to be a great place, however their service is terrible and their food has gone down hill. We used to order alot of food from them. Last few times food not so great. Tonight called and ordered. Was told an hour. 2 and a half hours later, still no food, no phone call, and they hardly want to answer the phone after 30 rings. Poor way to run a business. Would give them 0 stars if i could. Place went downhill ever since they opened a second location. Lost a customer here. Keep running it the way you do and good luck staying in business!

She let's you taste the meat before hand it was bomb. The gyro plate is more than enough meat and the pitas are extra large. It's great food. Better than Mr. Greek and any other place I've been too. I'm so in love with they gyros. My husband had the chicken gyro plate he says it's juicy tender and a lot almost couldn't finish it. I only have one complaint, which is not enough sauce for the extra large pitas. I'll be back really soon.

Ordered a delivery of 2 gyro meals. My husband found a big glob of hair in his meat and couldn't eat it. I called to let them know, they offered to bring another one. I told them, no he can't even think about eating it now. Needless to say I couldn't eat it either. This is the Nicky's on 6 and this is the second time we had problem with them. We have been to the one on 20 and ordered take out and never had a problem. A waste of 30$ 😡
