A morning stop when I feel like spoiling my staff. Loads of coupons and love it when the 49 cent bagel comes around. Haven't had a bad bagel, the muffins are crazy good. Haven't gotten around to the frozen yogurt, seems out of place and limited in selection. Breakfast, yes! Dessert, meh.
"Michigan" Bagels. It is Michigan, they are great bagels for where you are and what else is around!
There are only 2 places to get Bagels in SW Michigan (and be happy)... Big Apple Bagels and Panera... if it is not there, it is not worth it! Big Apple Bagels is more "personal" (even though they are all over) and friendly, Panera is more "corporate", with a wider variety.
Try a breakfast bagel at B.A.B.'s, they are superb- Mmmmm :)

Solid Breakfast Sandwiches. Bagels at Big Apple are pretty good. They aren't great, but this isn't New York and there aren't exactly many other options in town. Big Apple basically controls the "bagel market". That's o.k. though because the bagels are actually not bad. Wide selection of bagel types, cream cheeses, and sandwiches. Over the years, I've probably had just about everything on the menu, but I always come back to the regular bacon/egg/cheese on plain, everything bagel w/ plain cream cheese, or lox sandwich. Couple of things to note. First, the coffee is take it or leave it. Second, the cream cheese is whipped; I can't stand whipped cream cheese, but there's no decent alternative in town that doesn't use it, so I've grown accustomed to it. Aside from those two foibles, good stuff here.
I pulled the sandwich out of the bag and was shocked by how big the egg portion of the sandwich was. The mound of eggs actually made for a pretty hearty sandwich, but not so much that eggs was all you could taste. I’m glad I went with the toasting option because the crunchy edges made the sandwich just a little bit better than it already was.
Walked in for the first time in a few years, and the atmosphere was cheery with young families and regulars. The staff was extremely friendly. You can tell they are close to the community by the many photos of the franchise supporting elementary schoolers. But - most importantly, my BLT and latte were phenomenal and I got out of there for under $10 and 10 minutes. Like seriously, the bacon just tastes so bacony. I had low expectations for my vanilla latte but it tastes better than starbucks. I'll be back!
Excellent bagel and coffee shop. Very high level of cleanliness, and sanitation efforts by staff. Food is very high quality, and coffee is always hot and fresh. There are nice slow periods in the afternoon, which make this an excellent place to study, and read a book or journal.
Stopped by on a road trip. People and bagels were both great! Nice little city also
I love Big Apple Bagel...salt,asiago,and swiss melt,w scallion cream cheese.Its pretty high for 1/2 dozen now,but still get them when nearby.❤🥰
Excellent customer service! They make an effort to remember your order if you are a repeat customer. Huge selection of in house baked bagels. Muffins are also made in house! Coffee lovers can choose from different coffee flavors.
Don't let the construction in the parking lot deter you. They are open!!!

Let me tell you! If you’re looking for good comfort food this particular location is the one you want to visit! The food is delicious every time I go in! I absolutely love a southern tradition sandwich on a Swiss melt bagel toasted! Delicious! Not only is the food delicious but the service is OUTSTANDING!!! I mean, absolutely awesome. The owners Jason & Rachel are very generous and giving. They have donated bagels and muffins on many occasions to different churches and also to the gospel mission. I definitely highly recommend Big Apple Bagels on Centre & West Main! They get my business every time I crave a delicious sandwich/ coffee/ muffin! Which is every morning!
Even when they are busy the wait is short. Bragles are the best.
Love the Big Apple Club on sesame bagel. SO good! Also, the opportunity to choosoe between salty (chips) or sweet ( mini muffins) in their combo meal is great! This location is always quick, helpful and polite. Highly recommend!
Good bagels for michigan, staff can be a little derogatory toward customers which adds to the entertainment value from an outside perspective. I'll always go here.
