Best brewery in Kalamazoo, nay, the world! The staff was extremely hospitable. There was no lack of lawn games! The master brewer is so handsome too.
We went there on Sunday afternoon for beers and food. They had limited staff so they were only doing bar service. I like the ambience of this place as it is based on the presidents of the USA. Even the name of the beers are based on the names of the presidents, e.g., oatbama is one of the beers they serve. The staff was very friendly and the food came in quickly. We ordered their Potus burger and the chicken sandwich. I absolutely loved their food. The patty was very well made and the chicken patty tasted amazing in the sandwich. Their beers are also good. One recommendation is to get the tater tots instead of chips as the chips aren't great.
We have been going to Presidential Brewing for a few years now. We tried their trivia night and have been hooked ever since. We love the atmosphere, the beer, and the food. Presidential was even nice enough to host our engagement party this year, and it was perfect! This place is definitely a hidden gem in Portage!
This is a great place! Our service was great and the brews and food were great! They had a pickle beer that was very tasty. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was excellent but HOT! 😀 We will definitely be back.
We were there for a sea glass craft class and decided to eat early. I had the fried green tomato BLT and a sour beer, both were delish. The salad was huge. My daughter took home half of it.
Go!!!! Friendly staff. I’m rating this based off a one time experience. They opened at 12pm and the place filled up immediately. The staff was great, food was tasty, beers were great. I was weirdly impressed by their pickle drink. Kid friendly. I gave 4 stars because it took a while for our food.
Fun little unassuming brewery with lots of great food and drink specials. My first time here happened to be their Presidents Day Celebration party, on a Monday, and it was packed at lunch. We were greeted by the owner and he and the rest of the staff were super nice and helpful.
They played live music eventually and it was nice acoustic covers. Also, overtime, more and more families including those with babies and small children arrived. It was loud, but it definitely wasn't intolerable. The baby in our party had a great time and loved the music.
The beer was good and the food was good as well, but not a lot of selection.
Another cool feature was their option to buy veterans a beer, which we did, so when a vet arrives they can have a beer for free. You can even write your own message on the tag.
There's also a great selection of board games to play at the tables.
What a fun place! Firstly, I am very critical of servers having been one myself long ago... Our server was awesome! Super attentive and she was able to get the pickle pizza made for me even though, technically, it's not offered anymore 😍
The tots are ridiculous - so dang cheesy. We got the farmers and you can't go wrong... It's like breakfast lunch and dinner all in one!
Vegan ice cream bar: husband approved. Can't tell it's not dairy and it was delicious af. Such good chocolate!
Bacon. Bacon. Bacon. Did I say bacon? For the love of all that's holy, they DO NOT skimp on bacon. My husband's mac and cheese had the most bacon on it that we've ever seen from a restaurant. My pizza was swimming in bacon. Soo, yeah, if you like bacon, cheese and beer... Go. Now.
This place is like no other. The staff is amazing, true credit to the owners taking care of them, the customers and community. The events, from putt putt golf to karaoke bingo are innovative, fun and are shared with the entire staff/owners every night. There are many cool breweries across the country, but this one nails a grand slam with great service, food, exceptional drinks and events. They support the other community business as well. If you go once..youll be hooked :)
This place is AWESOME! They have delicious beer, creative and tasty food, and a really upbeat environment. Their menu has something for everyone, and the live events are a blast. If you haven't been here yet, you need to check it out!
A great atmosphere for families with great food and beer. The farmhouse tots, and the pickle pizza are amazing. The mini golf keeps our kids occupied and they always want to come here when we ask where they want to go for dinner.
