We are from Denver and are pretentious breakfast snobs with ridiculously high expectations. Some people say they know good food but we are hardcore foodies and BAT is hands down the best breakfast you will find in the Kalamazoo area. This place rivals any of our fave breakfast spots in Denver.
Very delicious. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place!
Great food, great service and an excellent atmosphere. A selection of unique choices along with traditional breakfast options. This will now be one of our favorite breakfast stops.
We had breakfast and it was the best in the area so far ! I also had lunch with a friend and did not have such a good experience - salad was bland and uninteresting and it was so cold inside that we nearly tuned into ice cubes !
Picked the BLT and Strawberry Lemonade. Sides were French fries and fruit salad. Service was good, food was good, wishing I ordered another lemonade to go because it was fantastic. I will be back!
The raspberry French toast is phenomenal. So good I blew my low-carb diet and went back a second time there's enough for three separate breakfast and it has a beautiful presentation. The service is excellent and the owner is darling. The coffee is very good.
Tbird. 3 of us visited the portage store location. The service was wonderful and warm. The owner did stop by the table to check that everything was good and that we were happy. The food we had was wonderful and full of flavor and i am very picky. We asked for a couple of special things and we were completely accommodated without blinking an eye. I'm sorry but if you are going to visit a restaurant right after they open you should expect that some customers are going to experience a hiccup here or there, that is the reality of life. I have a feeling they will out grow this location before long.
Portage location-3/20/14. Excellent food and top notch service. Highly recommended
Nice Surprise. Had breakfast there with my family - we've never been there before, and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was very clean and looked like it may have been recently remodeled. The food was good - especially the bread & cinnamon roll - EXCELLENT! The waitress was attentive and kept our coffee filled, and we got our food very quickly. Prices are very reasonable. I liked the homey atmosphere, and that the owner stopped by to chat for a minute as well. We'll definitely come back.
Grub 'n' Brew In Da Zoo
+4.5
Nice rework. About 1/2 step removed from Maggie's, but a fair bit better. The interior has been reworked and cleaned up quite a bit, the service improved dramatically with my server keeping the coffee and water coming throughout, and the food improved as well. Although I was tempted to get the stew (which remains on the menu as a nod to its predecessor), My tri-fold western omelet and potatoes were cooked perfectly and tasted great together. If I had one complaint it would be that the cheese blend used in the omelet tasted a little like american cheese for some reason (which I can't stand on omelets), so that was a bit off-putting, but should be easily solved next time by requesting cheddar. Breakfast at Tiffiny's is a nice addition to the other regular breakfast joints it town. For me, it's not on par with Uncle Ernie's or Crow's Nest or even LaRue's, but it's a solid contender in that second tier with East Egg and its ilk. I'll be back.
AWESOME. Service is wonderful, completely redone on the inside it's clean and a friendly environment. Staff is more then accommodating, one negative is theres only one bathroom other then that THUMBS up, try it if you haven't already.
(My wife) and I liked our last trip to Breakfast at Tiffiny’s near WMU, but it’s always a little off putting bringing a toddler in to a breakfast plate filled with hungover college kids on a Sunday morning. This new location is a great breakfast spot and will really open them up to a whole new client base.
The waitress was amazing and very friendly. She checked on me multiple times during my visit. The Raspberry Cream Chesse French Toast is amazing. It's probably not the best way to start the day with all the sugar, but it was definitely delicious. This visit was my first, but I'm gonna make it a stop when I am in the area again.
Our first time here - and it was very nice. We had a friendly, helpful server and our breakfast was really good! We will go there again. 🙂
My husband and I decided to try a new place for breakfast since we had a disappointing visit at our usual place. Very busy, but the hostess got us right in to a clean table. Our server was awesome, friendly and attentive. The coffee was AMAZING and HOT! Best coffee in town in my opinion. We both had the waffle platter. Enormous portions and everything was cooked perfectly. Prices were less expensive than I assumed they would be. A great visit overall and we will definitely be back! Thank you!
Cosy place for breakfast or lunch with a wide selection of dishes. The Shakshuka was delicious. Friendly staff.
So clean. Food was awesome. Service was great, too. I'll definitely come back here.
Owner is amazing! Food was delicious. A little bit of a wait on our food but it was worth it!
Wonderful breakfast/ lunch place. I ordered the salmon blt on sourdough bread and it was awesome!
Delicious food and hot coffee! Good size portions. Recommend the Baccando omelet with red skin potatoes, sausage gravy and the raspberry cream cheese French toast.
Great place for breakfast. I would actually rate it with 5 stars but they have increased the prizes and at the same time reduced the portions significantly. In addition, they charge a fee for credit card payments (which was not the case some months ago).
Stopped in for a nice lunch with my wife. Good food. Good service. I felt like we received plenty of food for the price. We'll definitely be back.
