My husband and I went there last night for my birthday. We were seated almost immediately. Our server somehow found out it was my birthday. The food we ordered was cooked to perfection and hot. The steak marsala is out of this world delicious. Our server (Eric) was very friendly and knowledgeable about not only the food but the wine as well. At the end of our meal, our server surprised me with a sundae with a candle on it. We will return every chance we can.
I love Carrabba’s! Always good! Salads are the best , freshest anywhere and the bread is to die for! Service is excellent! I would recommend it anytime. Very classy place to dine!
Wife ordered online. I parked in the online pickup place right by the front door. They brought me my food without me even having to text or do anything. Food was tasty. Serving sizes were large. I don’t know how much it cost.
Wonderful time for a birthday dinner. The server had good knowledge and a great attitude, he wasn’t pushy on anything and gave us the time to make our decisions. The food was quality and delicious. Wine, entrees, and the desert had a candle for the birthday person.
Service was absolutely amazing. Our servers/waiters were very kind and respectable on all levels. They were all definitely gentleman. We ordered the lasagna. It was outstandingly good by far! I haven't had lasagna that hits home or hits the spot like this restaurant.
Great food. Amazing team. Everybody is great: from the hosts, to the servers, cooks, waiters etc. they all go the extra mile to make the customer feel appreciated and welcome. Our server Madison was Outstanding. She was very busy, and never missed a beat. Our order was perfect, she was very attentive and had a smile on her face from start to finish. She was a true breath of fresh air.

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant in the Kalamazoo area and we have a few, locally owned, very good ones. It is a franchise but the food is created, on site, from a chef. The customer service is impeccable as well. My favorite is any cut of steak I choose, with Marsala sauce on it. The loaves of warm bread to dip in olive oil and herbs, keep you quite happy while you wait. The salads are fresh, the soups delicious, as is everything on the menu! If you’re a wine lover, they have wine that pairs well with every course and suggestions if you aren’t sure. Try this restaurant either for a special occasion or just becauserrick
This trip on 2/10/23, found us with a fantastic server, Derrick James, who was above and beyond an excellent model for service perfection and the friendliest, but professional service our Kalamazoo/Portage Carabbas is known for!
Food was absolutely perfect and amazing. The service by our waiter was phenomenal. The atmosphere is great, although we were crowded badly. Tables should be rearranged to allow for more privacy and more room. Other than that, the place is well kept, clean, neat. The staff were very helpful and insightful. Food was just amazing. I highly recommend this place for a family evening out. But expect to spend your money. My bill for 2 adults and a child was $75. Regular meals. However, I tipped our wonderful waiter $25 bc the service was beyond what our had ever seen. Carrabba's.....THANK YOU!!!

There is nothing I have had at Carabbas that hasn't been quality. From the mussels to the pasta to the Italian Cuisine, it all is top notch!!
You ARE going to pay $2-3 dollars more than you would at another Italian place, but it is completely worth it.
Afternoons or right before they close are my two favorite times to go where you can just sit there and enjoy the atmosphere and a glass of wine with your food.

1st time guest. Wonderful food and service. Appetizers with the fresh bread and olive oil was a meal in of itself. The mussels were sweet and tender and succulent. Had the right combination of garlic to onions ratio. The broth was great for dipping my fresh baked bread slices. Shrimp/Scallops pasta was a hit! Cooked to perfection. Whenever I am back in Kalamazoo, Michigan again, I look forward to dining there again.
