La P'tite Framboise is a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, you are treated like the only customers there, although the line is out the door. The staff is friendly, engaging and attentive, the food was superb .We stayed for a glass of wine and were treated to the nicest barkeep , fresh cheeses and olives at the bar, and generous , delicious wines and after dinner choices, shh, keep it a secret !!
My wife and I were staying at the Glen Cove Mansion this weekend, and the majority of the neighborhood restaurants were Italian. We're huge fans of French cuisine, and Googled this place, about 20 minutes away. Are we glad we did! From the minute we walked in, we were treated like royalty. Loved the decor, the ambience, and the entire staff was friendly and attentive . My wife at the escargot and the duck,while I had a pear/squash soup and the short ribs. For dessert, I had the poached pear... Magnifique!! Prices were not too steep, and we will certainly go back. I heartily recommend this establishment!! Bon appetit!!!

Hola foodie friends 👋🏼! Today’s foodie adventure took us on a trip to Paris… not literally, but totally delighted our palette and delicious Parisian fare. As you know, this foodie will travel for food and a lovely 45 min drive landed us at La Petite Framboise, French bistro cafe. The decor transformed us right to France from the moment we arrived! Such a romantic vibe!! Met the most beautiful Alexandria and her son Matteo. We chatted about all her amazing media posts that I knew I need to have a little of this and a little of that because there was noooo way I could decide on one meal!! We were immediately served freshly baked bread and croissants 🥐 omg!!!! I could eat that allll day long! They are shipped in straight from Paris!! Every bite was perfection. I started with the ever media famous Belgian hot chocolate served with chantilly cream. 😱😱😱😋😋 and my husband opted for a mimosa 🍾! Delightful is an understatement and as informed dunk the croissant right in the chocolate. 🤤 amazing! For food, my husband (bit of a plain Jane lol) had 2 egg breakfast and plain French toast! The brioche tho.. whatever magic that toast is dipped was better than any plain French toast I’ve ever had! I opted for the croque madam & creme brûlée French toast! When I say, I shimmied & did a happy dance in my chair, boy did I ever!! Flavor explosion!!! From the top notch service to amazing decor and food to die for. This place is a gem! Date night, day date, anytime. Thank you Alexandria for delighting us with a meal that is clearly made with love. I need to go back as I had my eye on a fellow patrons French onion soup that looked divine!! Cheers to the next foodie adventure
My son requested a French restaurant to celebrate his 12th birthday. This restaurant did not disappoint. Every dish was delectable and will definitely go back again!
Our favorite restaurant—just the most perfect place in every way. The food is the best we have had in any restaurant. It is tasty, with ample portions, fresh ingredients, and reasonable prices. It is elegant without being pretentious. The service is impeccable with immaculate cutlery, glasses, dishes and linens, and the best baguettes and pate. Water glasses are frequently refilled and they remember the names of our favorite cocktails when we are warmly greeted. The background music is lovely and at a level which doesn’t drown out conversation. Even the other patrons seem kind and considerate, not loud and entitled. The hosts Farid and Alessandra have created a gem of a French restaurant. No wonder it consistently wins the “Long Island’s Best French Restaurant” award. Outstanding in every way.
Stopped in here on a recommendation with family (incl toddler). Very happy to have received it. Lovely spot, great options on the menu for everyone (vegetarians incl). Will definitely be coming back, hearty portions, great atmosphere.
We were supposed to dine at our favorite Le Relais de Venice L’Entrecôte in Manhattan to celebrate my husband’s book release but Google told us they were closed (?) , and found this hidden gem in Port Washington! We had a reservation for 5:30pm but arrived at 5, glad we were early because the place was packed by the time we were enjoying dessert. Truly enjoyed the service & delicious dinner from the cocktail 🍸 French Martini, Calamars Framboise for Hors d’ Oeuvres (was dying to try the Burrata Salad but since my husband can’t eat cheese, we picked the calamari instead) , Entrées (Steak Frites, Macaroni Au Gratin & Duck) and of course le dessert (Creme Brulee, Chocolate Mousse and Chocolate Ice cream) . Just like Fancy Nancy’s favorite expression, it was magnifique 👏🏽⭐️ 🇫🇷 😄
Truly the best of LI. My family celebrates our most important events here. It is not stuffy but rather welcoming with absolutely delicious French food. The duck is a favorite dish. Also be sure to try the mussels!
Been here 4-5 times, this is the first time since my last visit 2 years ago. Food is great, as always. Dessert is fantastic, my wife and kids love it. One of my must-try restaurants in Port Washington.

The ambience of the place was just right. Owner/host greets everyone at the door. It was a Friday night and my birthday. We found this French restaurant on Google. Had a definite bistro feel to the place. Started off with escargot and calamari. The calamari was lightly breaded and tasted so good you didn't need the sauce, which wasn't bad but I prefer sweet/spicy blends for my calamari. Dinner was shrimp and scallops for me and hangar steak for the wife. I enjoyed mine very much unique blend of sauces and diced vegetables. Neither of us liked the hangar steak. Was too tough and cut too thick to enjoy it. Next time she will try the NY strip! Overall a great experience and will definitely come back again. Note the drinks are great. Raspberry martini is literally to die for...You can order wines by the glass or bottle as well Although Google gives it $$ marks it's closer to $$$. Definitely recommend this place if you want to experience not just good French cuisine but the feel and atmosphere of a cornerstone bistro on any Parisienne street.
Very good food. One of the better restaurants in Port Washington. Reservations highly recommended as the place was packed on a Saturday night.
French like cafe ambiance, delicious food, yummy Martini, attentive staff, ran by a lovely couple, especially Alessandra (apologize if the name is misspelled). If in the area will absolutely be back.
