Applebee's Grill & Bar

Tonight 4/2 (the staff this shift) was the best service and food from Applebees we had in some time. Super impressed with the teamwork I saw in the restaurant and the good energy all around. The food was cooked perfectly, everything was very full of flavor and nicely balanced portions. Again just so impressed. Stephanie as our server and she did fantastic! Jeremy also was working his magic around the restaurant.

Awesome visit! We just got into town and thought we would try a place that we’ve never been to before but nothing was open. I’m from Wisconsin and I’ve never been disappointed in Applebee’s before so because it was open we ended up going there to eat at 10 at night. Apps were phenomenal (wonton chicken tacos, super soft pretzels with beer cheese, and boneless chicken wings. The real bonus was our bartender Asia. She was so full of life gave us great information about the surroundings and was so friendly she made our night!! I’m sad that the Applebee’s around our area outside of Milwaukee Wisconsin have closed And I haven’t had a chance to go back to them.

From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by a friendly staff member that sat us down. Our server was attentive and the two worked as a team from start to finish. We had our five-year old grandson with us, so not waiting too long for our meal really meant a lot. Our food was fresh and tasty too. Thank you!

Service is beyond horrible. We have met our friends here 3 times in the past month. Food is decent, drinks are good. Poor service leads to watered downed drinks and cold food. One star is generous for the horrible service. We will only go back because our friends bought gift certificates and now they need to be used... Save yourselves and go elsewhere...

Decided to have an early dinner at 4pm and "stumbled" into a 2 for 1 Happy Hour!! Had a couple of Margaritas! This location was busy! Tried the "quesadilla" Burger ($6.99 for any Burger, with Unlimited French Fries, Dine in only, on Mondays!!) Scored!! Burger was great, used a fork and knife to eat it, huge, stacked with lettuce, diced tomatoes and cheese! Has always been a favorite American Restaurant!

Ordered to go take out tonight, arrived and sat in my car for 15 minutes, mind you I showed up about 5 minutes after my food was suppose to be done. Went inside since no one came out to my car only to be ignored by staff in the restaurant. Food was okay when I did finally have someone to talk to. This was my first time going there and the restaurant was only about a third full. I get the short staff issues but no one even acknowledged me while I was waiting and looking around for a staff member. This will probably be the last time I'll be going there.

The one at the Volusia Mall is better. I get the impression that the management sucks. One host left about 30 minutes before the next host arrived and the staff was not greeting ppl as they came in. Eventually the bartender left the bar to greet ppl. Makes me wonder if management had chewed out or reprimanded anyone who wasn't the host for greeting people and so that's why they were all ignoring people as they came in since there was no host. Just my impression as I was sitting there eating
