Review Dustin's Bar-b-q - Port Orange

Ordered take out, 5 meals. Was ready pretty fast. The young lady we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Food was good. FYI St Louis ribs do not come as a rack. Was not aware of that. I can only speak for the ribs, green beans and garlic bread. I works order from there again.

Upon hearing so much about how great Dustin's Bar-B-Q is, my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try and placed an order for pick-up. It was perhaps one of the most DISSAPPOINTING experiences in our lives. I got the Fish Fry, which was just the locally harvested catfish, and she got the Beef Brisket Sandwich. Her sandwich DID NOT EVEN COME WITH BBQ SAUCE! I mean the last thing you would think you would not receive at a BBQ joint is freaking bbq sauce!! My fish was chewy as it could be and felt like it was cooked hours prior and reheated for pick-up. We both got coleslaw on the side and it just looked like someone regurgitated a pile of lettuce, and it tasted just how it looked. The "garlic toast" felt like stale bread repurposed by being drenched in garlic butter. We had to put on CHICK-FIL-A sauce in order to be able to eat their "beef brisket sandwich." This is the first time we have ever written a review despite having bad experiences at other restaurants but we could not stand by and let this happen to anybody else!

Tasty tasty tasty First time here, will be back soon. I got a pulled pork sandwich, it had pulled pork. Why is that important? I've been to a few BBQ places that had more fat than pork in the sandwich. We had a party of six and the server was obviously overworked. But she smiled the whole time, was quick with refills and did a great job. The prices are good, portions hearty, what more can you ask for?

Forgot how good it is! Had not been in some time but have been visiting this location for 20+ years. Great staff and food! Salad bar A+, BBQ A+.

A good place. But the pulled pork and baked beans had a vinegar taste and the 1st rack of baby back ribs were extreamly dry. Mary S, my server listened to my evaluation and apologized for the ribs. She soon reappeared with fresh ribs that were delicious. I'll certainly give Dustin's another try. The photos show portion size and dry ribs and moist ribs.

Clean, fast and efficient service. I got the turkey and both my husband and I agreed it was tasteless. Also cannot find an allergen menu for this business anywhere. I was told their coleslaw has milk in it? This is the second employee who provided that information. Just a reminder - the egg in mayonnaise is not a milk product. Disappointed with the lack of allergen information.

very good food. The meat seems less fatty than other BBQ places(good). Pulled pork is the best and Baby back ribs are great.

Ms Teresa our waitress was very welcoming as this was our first time at a Dustin's. We had the salad bar and soup and it was good. We also enjoyed a creamy ice cream cone on the way out the door!

Love there salad bar but need to have a chicken salad and imitation crab meat.

My husband and I are driving back North after spending a lovely time in South Florida. Decided to take an exit for break from the drive. We love BBQ Ribs and were excited to see Dustin's. Well...initially service was fine...not too much later climate changed as my husband overheard derogotory statements about me from an other patron...after his exchange with the customer one of the employees said, " just get his order so he can get out of here". Boy!...well we did leave only to discover we had no eating utensils napkins or ketcup for my fries...but worse of all was the texture of our ribs...it was more like eating JERKY with BBQ sauce...very tough, and hard as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp much too long. Worse overall experience in my life.

Disappointing. Stopped in to get a dinner package for 4. Had to wait 20 minutes for it. Took a look at the salad bar-it looked good. Took 5 minutes to get food home, and half of the food was hot, half was cold and had to reheat it. All the meat was dried out like it had been sitting for a long time. Beans and coleslaw were good. Tea was very good. It's been awhile since we've eaten there, and asfter this experience, I don't think we'll go back. Sonny is much more consistent.

Sometimes it's good, Sometimes it's not. The consistency is better than Sonny's, but lately BBQ places are not on my "go to" list. I went during the holidays and the salad bar was good, as usual. The sliced pork, good as usual. The St. Louis ribs, not so good. I was disappointed in them. Service was so lousy, and it got to the point of thinking I was being pranked it was so bad. <br/>Usually the service is good. Disappointing this time, I'm sure I'll go back in about 7 months when they rotate servers or something.

A family favorite. Great food, great bbq flavor. Always busy, Attentive staff. Being a NYer, we stop in whenever we are in FL! Our fav bbq joint!

To "sonny's clone". Dustin's owner was actually the owner of sonny's before. He sold it when there was a good offer and now sonny's is a chain restaurant. A few years later he opened dustin's and named it after his first grandson.<br/><br/>Anyway, very good food! A few chooses, but large enough to pick from. Very good sweet tea and amazing chicken! Love, love, love it here!

Sonny's Clone. Dustin's is a Sonny's ripoff but in a good way. BBQ seems more authentic and the beans are much better.
