Wow. How embarrassing. A self professed foodie who knows that the 5oz Monterey Chicken is one of the best restaurant meals she's eaten. A petite chicken breast smothered in a white wine cheese sauce and abundant artichoke hearts; the chicken cooked perfectly. Even the mixed vegetables were beautifully cooked, soft yet toothsome. Bravo, MG!
Love it. Everything at this restaurant is always on point. The staff is friendly and efficient. I go every time I come back to town. Always my first stop. Owners are good at showing their smiling faces which is always refreshing to see. Keep it up !
True Excellence. After an innumerable amount of trips to this establishment I have absolutely nothing bad to say. The guys is always excellentd as well as the service. I prefer the Monterey Chicken for dinner and they have a fabulous cinnamon French toast that is great for brunch. Missing on meals there is really the only thing I really miss about leaving Port Orange for Edgewater. I used to live right around the corner at the apartments and walk over fire dinner regularly. Definitely give them a try.

Never Disappoints. We love this place. Everything tastes fresh and never disappoints. I've gotten few things off of their menu and while I used and still do love the tomato basil garlic shrimp pasta, I recently had their tilapia piccata and it was delicious~ my new favorite.
Best chicken tenders EVER! Their homey mustard sauce was the best I have ever had as well. So pleased with the food and the price. We were on vacation and contemplated going back for our next dinner out!
Favorite place to go. My two friends and I had dinner there last night, always happy to go there, Our waiter was wonderful . As always the food was the best, I love their salad and blue cheese dressing is on of the best, Salad has baby greens, tomato, nuts, cheese, very fresh. We ordered trio meals, mine was Crab cake, delish, fresh (not overcooked )Veggies and great mash pot., my friends had the salmon, which they loved, prices are right, and you don't leave hungry, The rolls are fresh and hot, with real butter, not a spread. Reasonable...And Good. This was my second trip to Monterey Grill. The first time I had lunch..this time dinner. They took a reservation, which was great because when we arrived ( Friday night) they were busy. Nice to see!
There were eight of us and we tried two orders of their fried zucchini. This version was very good and reminded us of the version we had at Maggiano's Little Italy. I would have liked a little more interesting sauce, but the zucchini was perfectly fried and very, very tasty. At $5.95, it was a very fair price.
Several people had the Chicken Marsala and loved it. The presentation was very good. I had a very good burger cooked exactly as ordered. Someone had salmon and another had a steak wrap. We had two desserts; half portions are available.
Everyone was pleased with their meals and their checks. This place gives you good food, fresh, presented nicely, and at reasonable prices.
They are doing an excellent job. My only criticism is I'd like to see them make a fresh cut french fry and charge a bit more for it. It really would make a huge difference.
It looks fairly ordinary but was still quite delicious! Perfectly cooked, rare, which is difficult to find at most restaurants these days. Fries were fresh and just the right size. Excellent service, great prices, easy parking and easy location. Recommended 10 out of 10!
We drive all the way from St Augustine just to eat here! It is my favorite restaurant! Everything is always hot, fresh and delicious. The bacon dressing is to die for. We've never had anything here we didn't like!
If you are looking for a quiet place for dinner, Monterey Grill is your spot. It seems to be extremely busy during lunch, but you can get their great food and excellent service at dinner in a much less crowded atmosphere. We had no wait and our food was delivered promptly. Our waiter was attentive, but he did not try to be overly friendly. My favorite dish is the spinach salad with hot bacon dressing -- the combination of spinach, boiled eggs, apple and crispy chicken tenders is delicious. Reasonably priced, easy parking and friendly staff.
I was visiting my daughter and wanted to eat somewhere local that isn't a chain. We will definitely be back!! The food was very good, hot and fresh. The atmosphere was nice, clean and inviting. Our waitress was nice and took care of us.
They have a calm, homey atmosphere and exceptional service, they treat their customers like friends. My parents come here every other week, and Erika always takes wonderful care of my parents and remembers their order everytime. Management always checks on every table, and their food is absolutely delicious and ALWAYS fresh. By far one of our favorite places to come for breakfast/lunch.
The service was superb! Emily is an awesome waitress. It's not easy to take care of a party of 12. And the food was very good. This is our favorite restaurant, especially for special occasions. Thank you Ryan.
This place is always good. Brunch(weekends), lunch or dinner. Shrimp scampi is worth ordering for the garlic bread alone. Large shrimp, yummy sauce. I like that you can get lunch or dinner portions, anytime. First time trying the French dip sandwich. Very good. Their French fries are the best, but I could also have gotten sweet potato fries, also delicious, or fresh fruit. I got the Chicken walnut salad to go, for a friend. I really like their salads with the mini banana muffins.. Service is always good here.
