$12 Lobster 🦞 comes with a bowl of soup. I have been coming here for years. Comfortable setting. Lots of tvs. They come around with a bag after you order your drink. You put your hand and pull out a token, could be free or have price. $1 Burger. It's not BK or MDs it's better comes w/lettuce and tomato and the 🥒🍅. Cool place to bring a date.

What a cool place to have lunch. Came here as a motorcycle ride destination from Queens on our Harley's. It did not disappoint. As we were parking our bikes 10 more riders were pulling up, I told our friends we better get in there first and get an order in before they get inside. A Small Pub not every updated on décor. The staff are excellent and very attentive especially our waitress she was on top of things. Now here this is what puzzles me, $12 Lobster and $1 burgers how is this possible. I will be visiting again when in the area you can't go wrong making a lunch stop here.

Love this place for a casual pub atmosphere to sit, have a beer and talk with friends. They have some typical bar style food but some very affordable meals that are beyond a bar food level such as a Porterhouse steak which is marinated & cooked to perfection as well as seasonal lobsters at a very reasonable price. To top it off, their daily soups are absolutely amazing! You aren’t distracted with view or fancy style, so your conversations are just you and your company. Love it.

AMAZING burgers! Hugh selection of beer. Incredible service and top notch management. Staff will go out of their way to make sure that you get the perfect burger and then pair it with the beer that will go best. Everyone is very knowledgeable and willing to use what they know to make sure you're experience is one to remember.

Stumbled upon Tara’s Inn. $12 lobster came with a bowl of delicious mushroom soup. Menu offered a wide range of choices, all reasonably priced. Food portions were perfect! Our friendly waitress, Katrina, was a charm! For 4 beers, potato cakes, and a whole lobster w/mushroom soup, was a mere $38 🦞

Tara's has unbelievably excellent food for an unbelievably affordable price. Our server, and everyone else I interacted with here, employees and other customers, were friendly and laid back. This place is a legend and a gem on Long Island. It's unpretentious, old school and I still love it. I can't drink alcohol right now but if I could, I would definitely do so here again. I've been here several times in the past for food and drink, and many times when I was a kid. One thing to keep in mind: Tara Inn is cash only, though they do have an ATM machine that charges $3 per transaction. Also, I miss RC Cola being served here. Tara's is where I first began my love of RC, when I was a kid. Definitely check this place out if you've never been here.

Saw this place on Long island Foodies and wanted to try it forever. The food was good to a point. The Buffalo burger I ordered I can tell was smothered in Buffalo sauce but when they cooked it, it cooked it right off so there was no taste to it. My dad loved his veggie burger and the jalapeño poppers were good as an appetizer. It was under their $10 appetizer menu. They had so many things to choose from that made it like you want to come back over and over. For those who only carry cards this place is CASH ONLY. Bonus They have a cigarette machine
