The best fish and chips ,I have ever had. Absolutely loved every bite of it. I went to beach and ended up here without any idea about the place . A variety of seafood is offered in the menu like shrimp, crab, lobster, scallops, calamari, clams, oysters and of course the fish. It's a fun place to hang out in the outdoor seating with ocean view and live music. Dole Pineapple Whip is available here, I have stood in queue like an hour in Disney to buy this. I love everything about this place, definitely will visit again. My only concern was that its a bit pricey place.
The Fish n Chips was a pretty good deal and tasty. Coleslaw was ok…but I did spruce it up with the available malt vinegar at condiment counter. Had one sip of my sister’s margarita which was also very good. Indoor and outdoor dining available. Located right next to the pier, so it’s nice to take a stroll after a meal. They have live music 🎶 on Wednesdays…which I have to say was OUTSTANDING!!! Played a wide range of songs.
This is our go-to stop for fish and chips and a cold beer. A little out of the way, but quiet beach, a great pier, and out of this world fish and chips is well worth it. We are usually passing through in our RV, and I can always find oversize parking in the big lot which is inexpensive. Pro tip: The regular fish and chips are surprisingly far better than the more expensive halibut.
The pic are the Butterfly shrimp and fried shrimp. Food was fresh and good. Sits at/on beach. You can see the beach just over the glass wall and short walk to the water. The restroom for the restaurant is the beach public restroom which is the building just on the otherside of glass wall in 📸. Wednesday evening had a live music playing, good.
The food has always been great. I went with my husband today and was concerned about what I would eat as a new vegan. They made me vegan tacos that were INCREDIBLE. They added extra veggies and things that were not on their original tacos. This means a lot to me because they wanted to make sure I had a great meal and a good experience. They went above and beyond and made me feel special. They should definitely put vegan tacos on the menu. Thank you! Highly recommend!
A great beach cafe in unassuming Port Hueneme. Walk the pier and get some fish and chips to go, although dine in allowed. Crowded outdoor patio but several picnic benches with windbreaks nearby. Live music on weekends. Great food, especially the fresh oysters. Market prices so not particularly cheap. Come on what used to be all you can eat Wednesday (now discounted 7 piece fish and chips).
Fish and chips were delicious. Small place with outdoor seating. Not the best beach side restaurant but great for what it is. Portions are great especially for the price of the food. Only downfall was the high prices so be prepared for no plate under $20. $3 for a soda $11 for a beer.
