Really is a local store - gas pump out front and all. Groceries, crafts, candy, lobsters, plus a few touristy things. Good coffee.

Pretty good coffee and snacks - a little pricey for a general store - kind of a happy little movie theater - we caught a nice scene from the movie Tombstone while we got coffee

The food at the counter was excellent. The Halibut Reuben was the bomb! Also recommend the sweet potato fries. My wife said the broccoli soup was really good too.
Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was I didn’t find the people very friendly and it takes time to get someone to help and take your order.
There was only one woman working the lunch counter and she worked nonstop. She had to keep stopping to take orders then cook everyone’s food. At the front register there were a couple of people working. Would have seemed better to put one of them on the food register when it was busy to help her. At least during the peak times.
I realize places are short staffed and it’s an issue for everyone. It just didn’t seem like the people at front were that busy and they could have helped her more. It would have made things go smoother for the customers.

We had a fun stop at this cool general store. The place is chock full of good food, gifts and treats. We even bought a scratch ticket, hoping we'd win the Maine lottery. No luck but we scored some Urban Farm Cider and a few other treats.

Awesome little store. They have an amazing assortment of food . I had the Lobster Benedict, and in the case next to me you can buy Live Maine Lobster. Out front is 1 gas pump just incase you need to top off as you drive around town.

The general store is cozy but still has all the basic necessities one might need on a trip to Port Clyde. They have everything from toothbrushes to fresh and even live seafood! The restaurant aspect of the store had cheerful service and delicious food. I would highly recommend the Port Clyde General Store to anyone who is looking for a yummy breakfast or a nice treat.

What a beautiful location with such a nice store full of character. We stopped here for lunch with our family of five. The staff was incredibly friendly and hard working, especially during these hard times when staffing is so challenging. The food was terrific and the portions were huge. We had a beautiful lunch on the water and are so glad we stopped. We will absolutely be back the next time we’re nearby.

My gluten-free lobster roll was excellent! Consumed at the nearby lighthouse.

Traditional general store that I absolutely love! Awesome breakfast and lunch items just like you'd expect from a homey place like this, with the bonus of fresh fruit smoothies, lots of local goods, local and regional craft beer, even local produce! Excellent selection of essentials, pantry staples, souvenir items.. and wonderful staff!! A much-needed merchant at the end of a beautiful peninsula.

Port Clyde is a very random location in Maine, however it will give you the feel of a lobstering town vibe. This general store is actually quite nice for the location. They offer a variety of items as well as a positive environment. The service is very standard with nothing bad or special about it. They have good prices as well as a good location for anyone that is visiting Port Clyde.
