We love this place and eat here every time we visit the island. Great service and food.

What a great diner. Friendly natural staff and food to calm the frayed nerve endings of city life. An unexpected treat was a card with their gluten free menu advice. Perfect for my wife. We shall return.

The BBQ Nachos were incredible! We will be back for those. Staff was very friendly and great service!

In our first time with The Scarlet Lady Dolphin (2022) Adventures, we received a coupon, so we tried the place. Definitely, my favorite was the fried chicken plate. The portion was great. Since that visit, we came back once again this year from Eagle Pass and guess what? The same taste 😋 👌

The food was amazing. My husband had the chicken wings. He was surprised to see them on the menu and our server said they smoke the wings, then fry them and add the sauce. They were delicious. I had the brisket and the ribs with mac & cheese and brussels sprouts. The meat was so tender. I think the brussels sprouts could’ve used a little more cooking time, but they were still good. We also took home a piece of mixed berry and peach cobbler with ice cream. They were large servings. Large enough that I ate on it for two days. Our server was Abby and she was very friendly. We will be back no doubt!!!

Max and cheese was good. Basically everything we had was tasty. Brussel sprouts need to be cooked in some butter and seasoned.

Very nice place. I am no brisket connoisseur but it was pretty tasty. The brussel sprouts and broccoli were also surprisingly very good. Cheesy chili tater tots were also VERY yummy.

We tried going to MacDaddy’s for dinner last night, but everywhere had a 1.5 hr wait without a reservation or getting on the waitlist ahead of time. We settled for lunch today. The host was very friendly and accommodating grabbing us ice waters for a 20 min wait. Our waiter was soft spoken and patient with us deciding what to eat. We ordered a lemon butter grilled fish, a brisket sandwich, and a kid’s meal Mac and cheese with pulled pork. I’m a big bbq enthusiast, so I kept my expectations low. Luckily, my favorite items on the table was the pulled pork and then brisket. Good smoky flavor with a crusty bark (the way I like it). The brisket seemed more lean than my unhealthy self prefers, but it was still good and even better with their bbq sauce. I appreciated that they buttered and toasted the bun. The grilled fish was tasty too, but I thought the bbq was stronger. The peach cobbler was really good too. It was thinner than I imagined it would be with a traditional cobbler portion that has a layer of oatmeal and crumble that was almost like a thin oatmeal cookie (a favorite cookie of mine). My son got a free soft serve also, which was served in a cup with cone on top. We took some of the leftover soft serve and threw it on the hot cobbler to make it a la mode. Good stuff.

Food is awesome. Always start off with the nachos with pulled pork and brisket. Add jalapenos if you like it a little spicy. I always add the spicy sauce also! The fish is amazing! Loved it! Portion sizes are so much that I have yet to try the pecan pie for dessert, but I really want to !
