I found House of Poolesville while looking for a bar to grab a drink and get some food and watch a few games with a friend. The restaurant has a few nice gardens on the grounds and the restaurant has a bar area and a sit down dining area. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. I ordered a few drinks and some sushi of the menu and my friend had two Asian dishes. While looking at some of the plants outside, a lady at the restaurant asked if we wanted to take some flowers home, which I thought was very nice. The food, drinks, and service were very good and I will stop in if I find myself in Poolesville again
So my daughter and I was out exploring driving around π we decided to go to Poolesville I use to actually live there years ago anyway we saw the Barr house approval so we decided to go and boy I tell you we had a blast I've never had so much fun at a bar.. Well be back here on Thursday Haley the bartender was amazing β€οΈβ€οΈ I had her in laughing so hard we met quite a few people left their to go to another bar across the street and I was even better... I stole Billy's hat π€ πππ someone let me Barrow their glasses π€πππ
This place is just fun. It ain't classy, it ain't stuffy, it's just good people and good times. I haven't tried the food but people seem to like it. Beer is cold, outside in the summer with live music on Saturdays is a good time. Off the beaten path, but worth the drive.

Great food all around. I mostly get the sushi and their soft crab is a hidden gem! And if you want a little American thrown in there try the cheese steak egg rolls!!! Fun!π

A nice spot to catch up with pals is the pub. The cuisine was excellent. The staff at bars are quite welcoming, and they will let you know right away if your drink is emptied.
Great food at fair price always. So nice to sit outside in nice weather.

This place is a great find. Seating indoors and outdoors, large outside area, pool bar great food, great service, reasonable price. Bonus Points for having indoor and outdoor plants. Also sushi!
Also called AHOP by the locals. The bar is a great place to meet up with friends. Bartenders are extremely friendly and they are quick to notice even your drink is empty. Appetizers were fresh and flavorable. Would have given it 5 stars if the had carried hot chocolate too!
