It seems like it's difficult to find a great place for Cuban coffee in the Ft. Lauderdale area so I'm happy to have found Cuban Cafe. They serve delicious coffee, pastries, breakfast and sandwiches. There are couple of things to know: parking kind of sucks and there's not a lot of room inside but it's still worth it.
The cafe con leche is HOT and sweetened just right. The jugo de mango con leche is my favorite drink and Cuban Cafe makes it perfectly.
I ordered the Breakfast Special which is served with 2 eggs, bacon or ham, cuban toast, homestyle potatoes, and a Cuban coffee. This reminded me of a home-cooked meal. The homestyle potatoes had so much flavor and the Cuban toast was just what I needed to soak up the yolk from the eggs.
Cuban Cafe is a bit of a drive but I know I'll leave satisfied.

A simple place to find good food. Over all the food was fine. I did have breaded chicken with rice and beans. No complaints. Limited seating area would be the only complaint I have.

All their food is delicious. Everyone is so friendly and they are happy to please you. Coffee and orange juice is great! They have specials daily. They open early and close by 3pm.

February 5th, 2022 . We stopped here for breakfast . Upon arriving , the place may not look like a lot from the outside . It’s plain looking . I think it’s gray color , in the middle of a commercial street . A lot of workers go there . I saw a worker from the west management company was eating there . When some of those worker go there you know it’s good . Upon entering there are no tables . But you will have a Seating area but def no tables . Coffee is good . The only thing I would do different is specified for my coffee to be served in a cup not a styrofoam cup . I am here visiting so I don’t want they culture of the restaurant is .
The menu is pretty basic but it’s good . A lot pictures of cars in Cuba . I asked forma coffee to go again , Cubans have a few names for coffees , they asked if I wanted café americano I said yes , that means is just Black . I wanted café con leche but even though I ended up throwing the coffee. Away everything else was great !
All in all , our meal and visit was pleasant

An at-home type of restaurant. Don't let the outside discouraged you from going in. Once inside, you are at home. The food taste authentic and the service was good. A very nice to the area. We had the big breakfast with cuban coffee. Perfect portion and priced right. Give it a try.

I love this small, and functional restaurant. I've been eating from this little gem for years!! When I walked in there today, the owner, greeted me just like he greeted me the first time I went there. He remembered me from the previous times I've ordered from their spot!!! Awesome food, love it!!! Still fresh and delicious as ever, and I highly recommend Cuban Cafe!!! The best Cuban restaurant (for me) ever!!!!

Just stopped in there for a quick snack and this place was on point! Planned on just getting a quick Cafe con Leche and Cuban toast but the smell in there, was so good, I couldn’t resist trying my luck with a Cuban sandwich. Boy was I happy I did!! First off when I ordered my sandwich I was kindly asked if I wanted it with the real pork/ lechón (get it this way) or with the processed sliced pork ham, I said yes PLEASE! Definitely the Lechón!!! And it was amazing!!! Since I sadly no longer live in FLA when I visit I’m always trying to eat Cuban food and sandwiches are my favorite. Last time I visited, I drove in traffic under pouring rain about 2 hours down south to Sw 8 st to try a place that had been on TV, that sort of had a rep for the “Best Sanguiches”. And on this trip, a few days ago I went to La Esquina del Lechón, so I’ve done my own sanguiche research. But unfortunately, I was disappointed by both those places. This unassuming little place however, is an entire different thing. This was by far one of the BEST CUBAN SANDWICHES I’ve ever had!! The fresh pork was delicious and tasty. The bread was perfect, the sandwich had the right amount of condiments and it was nice and hot, prepared fresh, right before my eyes. Pure heaven!! I did also take the Cuban toast, which was also perfectly made, along with the Cafe con Leche I had originally came to get. The coffee was also perfect with the right amount of cafe to milk to sugar ratio. And they wrapped my to go order nicely and took extra care to plastic wrap the cafe cups, so it wouldn’t spill when I drove off. It’s funny how this little place can manage to beat out in flavor and in service the 2 places, that I previously went to, that are supposed to be well known for special sandwiches. It’s good to know the little places in the neighborhoods are still thriving and making customers such good food that will definitely keep me coming back whenever I’m in town.

Delicious food! Also, decent sized portions. I can easily eat 50 kilos of protein but struggled to consume all of the lunch dish I ordered. It doesn't make sense, right?

The world need more places like this. Nice people and of course, the food is really good.

It's a small restaurant tucked in the corner of an industrial area. Good for breakfast and lunch. You can pick up empanadas or a coloda. You can get dinners like picadillo, palomilla or oxtail. All very well cooked meals. The waitresses are friendly and quick about their job. I had the which is delicious all the time

I was driving through town and decided I wanted a cuban sandwich and an espresso. The Cuban Cafe did not disappoint! This is a mom&pop style cafe with authentic food. Their colada espresso is like liquid gold, delicioso, the perfect sweetness. The sandwich had fresh bread and was toasted to perfection. This is a great stop for breakfast or lunch.
