Best food I’ve had in my life. Atmosphere was perfect. I do think it would be better without the music. Service was flawless. I would definitely recommend the Hawaiian Ribeye, Cheeseburger, and Spinach Artichoke Dip. They were all 10/10. Only issue was the key lime pie was $12 for a small slice that was lukewarm, watery, and sour. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Waitress was outstanding.
Caesar salad was good but a bit much on the dressing.
Ribs were excellent.
Mashed potatoes were good, but they had coleslaw mixed in, which I was fine with but not sure others would be.
The coleslaw was good.
Key lime pie was good, the crust was a bit much and the whip cream was not sweet. The pie filling was delicious.
The price was a bit high for the overall experience. Would have expected bread at the beginning, but definitely worth a visit.

Houston's was a gem. Our server was wonderful and the food was well cooked and delicious. I had a wonderful, large NY strip and the other diner had the pork chop and mash. Pork can be easily overdone for instant leather - not here, very juicy. The open kitchen adds further class and style to the experience. I'd advise a reservation to avoid a lengthy wait.

A beautiful spot with superb food and staff. The trout superbly cooked their attention to detail made you feel special, there was no rush they wanted to you have a great experience not just another table to get through. Quality seating very pleasant atmosphere made it a special evening meal.

My first visit was exquisite. From the valet to the host upon arrival, we knew we made a great choice. The atmosphere was intimate and friendly. We loved the kitchen layout. It shows a level of confidence when preparing food for all to admire. And, Oh yes, this foodie was living. The pacing of our server was on point. We had time to enjoy every bite, have conversation, sip, and savor our meal. You've created another regular.

Always a great meal at Houston’s.
A bit upset they took the hickory burger off the menu after so many years, but the regular burger is still great. Hopefully they will bring it back one day.
Always get the artichoke and spinach dip. Delicious.

We went to Houston's by recommendation. We started with the artichoke appetizer, it was SO good and the sauce was perfect! My husband and I shared the Hawaiian Ribeye with a baked potatoes and we added fresh cream corn. We split it and still had enough left over for a take home plate. The steak had the most amazing flavor my taste bud's were doing a huge happy dance! The cream corn, you could taste the freshness in it and I even got a piece of silt from the shuck, I didn't mind it showed how off fresh off the Cobb it truly was!!
We were seated inside looking put into the canal and able to see the boats coming and going. Hpuaton's was very busy and the back porch stayed packed with people waiting on the sidewalk to be seated. They had a bar outside on the back porch that stayed busy. Granted we were here during Memorial Day Weekend, however I'm guessing Houston's stays busy during the summer.
FYI you can't make a reservation for outside but can for inside! We called the afternoon of the day before and we're able to get an early reservation. They have complimentary Valet service. People were dressed up and some just in shorts and Tshirt.
