Delicious birthday dinner!! Had the bone in ribeye with mushrooms and fire bleu sauce and escarole greens, a wedge salad for appetizer. Even my dirty martini was divine! Can't wait to come back!

Very good local Youngstown area restaurant, an upper mid-range level establishment. Was here for a business dinner. Had a meatball appetizer as my entree. It was very good. The red sauce meatballs were served in was tasty also. The other 7 members of our party's food looked good too. I didn't ask their opinion but I think they all enjoyed it. I have eaten here multiple times over the last decade and have always felt satisfied. Service was great as well. Another nice experience! 👍 It had been over a year since my last time in so I didn't have a recent food quality history fresh in my mind. This is the primary reason I rated food quality 4 stars. The bottom line is if in the area, I would recommend this place.

Food was delicious. Had the flash fried veal chop. Cooked to perfection. Service was a little slow but I feel we are stuck with that as the new normal these days. Atmosphere was nice. It probably deserves more than 3 stars as there was really nothing wrong with it. Clean, orderly, it just gave me that 80's strip joint type of vibe....not that I have ever seen one....

The ambience of this place is spectacular! Lots of nice seating options whether you are on a romantic date or with a group of friends or family. The bar area is gorgeous, and the wall paintings add a colorful art gallery feel. Most importantly, the staff was extremely warm, welcoming, friendly, and outstanding at their jobs! Food was delivered promptly, and it was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed our time there immensely and plan to return whenever in town;)

Quality food. My steak was overdone, however they exchanged it no problem. The waiter did seem a bit too smug for my liking, but I think that was just his personality. 🤷‍♀️ Also, if you want shrimp added, make sure to tell them not to put it on top of your steak. Kind of ruins the flavor of the steak. Still highly recommend. Just be specific when ordering. The dried cherry filet mignon medallions my significant other ordered was amazing! Crab cake was nice and full of meat rather than bread crumbles! Caprese salad had fresh delicious mozzarella and the balsamic they used to pair it was amazing. Hungarian hot peppers were not hot, but still good.

Great place for a business lunch or romantic dinner. I had the blue fire pork chops, delicious. My friend had the cherry glazed filet medallions.

It's quiet. The lighting is perfect. It's a nice place! Our waitress (sorry I'm bad with names) was sweet, upbeat, and didn't bombard us with too many visits. She kept everything full and deserved a big tip. The food and drinks are perfection and surprisingly affordable for what you get. It's a bit hidden, but worth the search.

Best Italian food in Boardman. Service is fast and waitstaff are polite and professional. Atmosphere is classy and seating is nice and comfortable!

Went to a class reunion there. Loved it. The food, the service, the room, it was all great. It made for a terrific experience. I would definitely recommend them.

I've been here 2 times and enjoyed the food both times. Beautiful ambiance. The bone-in veal parmigiana was the best I've ever had. Nevertheless it was so big that I could not finish it. My friend had the fillet and said it was fantastic.

We enjoyed a family dinner here tonight to celebrate a birthday. They were very family friendly and helped our little ones enjoy and make it through dinner with ease. Highchairs, boosters, coloring, and split the two meals we ordered in half for them each to have a bit of both. We also ordered a to go meal for a family member that couldn't make it and they had that ready just before the check was ready and timed it very well. Everyone enjoyed their meals and appetizers too! Would go back and would recommend. Our waiter was a kind welcoming man and was attentive and available without ever being overbearing - perfect!

Really loved this restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. A little pricey, but great for a special occasion meal! Everyone is very friendly also.

This review is regarding Danielle, one of the bartenders. Stopped in to place a carry out order and had a drink at the bar waiting for our order. Danielle is the nicest, friendliest bartender we have experienced at Alberini's. She made our brief time waiting for our food the best experience we've had at this restaurant. She was attentive and friendly all while taking care of other orders, prepping for the night as well as the other customers at the bar. She is a great asset to the business.

I've gone to Alberinis since I was a child and it was on 422. Michael Alberinis didn't disappoint as I was surrounded by friends and loved ones for a special meal The service, setting, and food were all above par; a special thanks to our server Regina - her character, and attentiveness were above reproach

The server was extremely unfriendly, The food tasted old...It was my sisters Birthday we decided to have her a surprise birthday dinner there.. We ordered here birthday cake from there..we ordered A Red velvet cake they gave us Chocolate... When we spoke to the Manager on duty he assured us that the baker simply didn't put enough food coloring in the cake..smh..such a disappointment.. Because the atmosphere was beautiful.. But the lady's bathroom was filth...I was super disappointed.. Never again!!�

We made reservation for 16 of us ..as everyone came in our server was right there..never an empty glass..from our Appetizers all the way to the Deserts everything was on point..it was a great anniversary..a fine dinning experience and to our server NICK #dudeyourtheman Thank you !!

What a fabulous place! We were here yesterday for the Wolf’s Club Scholarship dinner & the food was unbelievable. Lamb chops, bruschetta & beef medallions. Afterwards they served some type of lemon cake which was a perfect end to a perfect dinner. The service was fantastic but I already knew that from going there before. Thanks Michael Alberini for putting on such a great dinner for the Wolf’s Club & for the children who received the scholarship’s. My daughter being the receipient from Boardman.

Horrible waitress, drink sat empty for over 10 minutes without so much as seeing the waitress, and below average food. Slow service from the kitchen even before dinner rush. For as much as this place advertises as high class, I would prefer ANY chain and their service over this.

We went for our wedding anniversary. The veal Parmesan was fabulous. The wine was great and was half price for happy hour. We loved the bread. The whole experience was great. Patrick was a very great waiter. We will be back very soon.

A great place to meet friends & enjoy the food & atmosphere. My only complaint was that they charged $13.00 ( shrimp cocktail) for 3 shrimp on a small round plate .. I felt that was quite exorbitant!!

Love this is our favorite restaurant. Our dinner is always fantastic. Some times we get a newbie server but the food compensate.

We had a great time! Our waitress Tiffany was fabulous. I had the filet medalians with shrimp scampi on top. Best meal I’ve had in a long time! Thank you!

Would rate it a 0 if possible. Went for our anniversary and the service was terrible, the waitress seemed like she spent more time in the bathroom shooting up or doing lines than she did her job. Also at the end of the night after giving her an UNDESERVING 20% tip, she added more money to my husband's tip to give herself almost $100!!!!

LOVE The atmosphere, food wasn't anything special but it was okay (I got Chicken Piccata and Crab Dip appetizer). Disappointed that our waitress didn't care to tell us that the wine she suggested came in a teeney tiny shot size wine glass when she knew I was expecting the larger regular size which by the way was cheaper. I was only having one glass of wine for the night so that was upsetting. Also, we were there for 3 hours due to slow service from the kitchen. I expected a better experience than what I got at Michael Alberini's.

We had reservations for a party of 10 last night 5pm. We couldn't have asked for better service. The waiter was fantastic. Very friendly, and he made sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent, our compliments to the chef !! We all enjoyed ourselves and had a really nice relaxing dinner...Thank you very much !!

Our 13th wedding Anniversary dinner was excellent! We ordered the lobster roll for an appi and is was great. My husband ordered the filet with asparagus which was cooked perfectly! I ordered a special that night, the jumbo scallops with risotto. The best scallops I've ever had! It has a great atmosphere and great service. The wine selection is almost overwhelming....which isn't a bad thing!

It was over all pretty good but my husband's mashed potatoes were not very hot & neither were my mushrooms on my chicken. I think it was a little expensive for the portion size. My husband's salmon was very small. The bread was good. I doubt we ever go back.

We went the night before Mother’s Day. We did not have a reservation so I was not surprised at having a wait for a table. Very disappointed in the service received after being seated. I’m pretty sure she forgot she had taken our drink order since it took 20 minutes just to get 3 non-alcoholic drinks. When I asked about my martini, was told the bar was backed up. When I asked why my husband still did not have his iced tea, she blanked out, she totally forgot it. My dinner was more of an appetizer (Kyoto scallops) 4 tiny scallops with a side of dry rice. Definitely not like our previous trip there. Very disappointed 😔

Simply the best restaurant in the area. Michael Alberini is so knowledgeable about his product line and food dishes. Looking for wine? Look no further!! His wine selection is FANTASTIC!! It’s a staysassyytown place for sure!!

The restaurant itself is awesome, decor and lighting are spectacular for a dining experience. I've never been disappointed with the food. My recommendation 'get the veal it's the best in the city'. Excellent veal. Have some good chicken dishes that I've had too. Good option for an upscale dinner in the Youngstown area.<br/><br/>My go to orders:<br/>Veal Parmesan<br/>Aspen Medallions

Amazing all around! Gorgeous bar/lounge with really cool circular booths. Food has been great every time and knowledgeable servers!! Kind of a hidden gem if you're not too familiar with this past of Boardman/Poland, back in a plaza off the north side of 224. <br/>

have been here a few times for dinner, but many more times for drinks and appetizers at the bar. very nice bar area, good music. long and interesting cocktail menu, and great wines by the glass. always good appetizers. we always get the thai chili shrimp and something else, whatever is new on the menu. the bar is always busy. we moved here from the east coast and have had a hard time finding good food. The atmosphere, food and drinks are great here, very forward-thinking.

Great Caesar's Salad. Miso Salmon was off the chains. The Lamb Lollipops were on point. Was 5 on flavor, presentation and temp. Definitely recommend all 3.

Big disappointment. I went to Alberini's on a recommendation from a friend for Valentines day 2014. I was sorely disappointed. The taste of the food was good but not so great to justify the price and the portions and value was downright offensive. Given the amount I spent for dinner the last thing I expect is to go home hungry and eat leftover pizza to fill up. Twelve dollar appetizer - 2 scallops the size of a half dollar, eight dollar glass of wine, approximately 2 ounces, that's enough for 3 full sips people. Side of asparagus - 4 pieces. Rack of lamb 3 pieces that can fit in the palm of one hand.<br/><br/>I mentioned that I was left hungry to my waiter who completely ignored my comment. To top if off I was overcharged for my meal but was so angry that I paid and left because my wife begged me to just let it go. I will never be back and this establishment should be ashamed do not waste your money here.

Michael c from boston. Been there a few times. Food good but wait staff and service is not. Hostess and wait staff not friendly nor attentive. Always seem as if they are put upon.

Consistent. I have had the pleasure of dining at this establishment many times and I usually order the Rib Eye steak. It is always as I last remember the dish to be..... I love and appreciate that consistency. I do not hesitate to recommend Michael Alberinis's.

Thumbs down. Very disappointing experience. Took a large party there, reservation was not documented, meals were incorrect with no offer to fix, extra charges on the bills. Also took an extremely long time to get everyone checked out with an error on almost every bill. Manager very impolite, no offers to correct anything or compensate.

Fabulous but pricey.

One of the best!. While it's true that this restaurant can seem a bit pricey try to remember that you get what you pay for. The food here is wonderful and well-presented. The servers are usually excellent and they really know their stuff. On our last visit we chose a bottle of wine from their wine store. The gal who served the wine didn't seem to enjoy her job at all. She had the personality of a pet rock and acted as if she was doing us a big favor. But that is the one and only complaint I've ever had with Alberini's on Rte 224. Don't hesitate to put this place at the top of your "Special Occasion" list.

I have been to this Restaurant a few times. It used to be one of my favorite Restaurants. But then a week ago I went with my mother and fiancé and at first the meal was amazing other then our server. Then my mother was served RAW meat and so she told the server. Then this horrable, mean and rude man who said he was the manager came over and blamed my mom for the raw meat becouse she ordered it a certain way becouse she thought it would be cook though and not raw. He was so rude to us, not once did he even apologize for the fact she was served the raw meat. This time left such a sour taste in my mouth becouse of the way we where treated that next time we will pick some where else. It makes me sad they would have a man like that in charge becouse now they lost good customers becouse of it.

Perfect bar staff and very good food. Unfortunately the atmosphere, dim lighting and loud jukebox music, distract from the quality service and food.

Dinner was great! Veal Alberini was awesome, as was the Amaretto cake. I'll be back.

One of the best restaurants in the Youngstown area. I have had the pleasure of dining here several times and have never been let down by service, food, or spirits! Highly recommend this restaurant. Great prices for amazing food. I see that people waited, well make a reservation!

Amazing. We have been to Michael Alberini's several times, and have yet to be disappointed. Their menu is large and diverse with a little something for everyone. Their escargot are top notch. The ribeye is cooked perfectly. We usually stop in on a Wednesday, which is their sushi day. Yes, an Italian joint making fresh, top of the line sushi. Seams strange, but its so good. Their specials are usually the best things on the menu. Last time we stopped in, they had duck wings in a soy ginger marinade that were amazing. If they were on the regular menu, we'd live at Michael Alberini's.

Welcoming Owner. My family recently had the pleasure of dining here. Food was delicious and service was friendly and attentive. Adding that personal touch, was having our dinner delivered by Michael Alberini and having him introduce himself and seem genuinely concerned about our dining experience. Most restaurants have gotten away from this practice...nice to see that some still honor manners and traditions.

FAUX -FINE DINNING. My filet was not cooked medium rare-after waiting 25 minutes for our drinks/apps another 25 for salads and more than an hour for mains-the 2 hour ordeal could have been 3 hours had I asked for my filet to be cooked medium rare -not heat lamp medium well.Our server seemed very nervous- he must have taken a powder as he was m.i.a. for much of the dinner.This place is a joker.

Great food & service, even on new year's eve! Also loved the appetizers & martinis!! We have had no problems with long waits.

Sliding service was good now it has been salad apps drinks and now 40 minutes no entree and its 925 pm is this worth any food. We left our home at 6 !!!!!! Great Food!. First I didn't want to stop with the appetizer. But I moved on to a ribeye and vegetables. And for a closer I had chocalate cake. Wow. It was all good. The place was hopping and I think that says a lot about it. If you want reasonably priced food and to make an impression for a special occasion or are just plain hungry. This is a solid choice.
