Excellent! Been there several times. Took Mom yesterday, 3/22,for her 90th birthday. The server, Randy, was attentive without hovering. The food was hot and good as usual. Randy was very knowledgeable about the menu and patient with Mom. The turtle soup is a must order. I pre ordered a birthday cake and Randy and another server brougt it with candles to sing Happy Birthday. The coffee was sso so. Bill Montgomery
Had a wonderful meal. Outstanding, delicious food as always. Christine was excellent server
Very good. I had diablo Mac which was delicious. The jalapeño was a whole jalapeño so the pasta itself wasn't spicy. My husband had the special balsamic thyme duck and he said the duck was cooked very well and the zucchini and eggplant was cooked well. His only complaint was the salt was just a little salty and the duck could've used just a little more seasoning. But overall very good. Their peanut butter or was excellent!
A Favorite!. We eat out often and have picked our top two favorite restaurants...Springfield Grille being one of them! The décor is rustic and fancy with animal heads, a fireplace and lots of dark wood with white linen tablecloths and warm lights. The food is superb! You get several different types of rolls, all warm with a whipped butter. Their house and Caesar salads are delicious and not your typical bagged lettuce in a bowl. The Thai Calamari is the BEST calamari we've ever had anywhere (and believe me we've tried calamari lots of places!). The entrees are all good, but it's really the rest of the meal that keeps us coming back. The Peanut Butter Bliss dessert is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I have tried replicating it at home it's so good! The service is okay...at times great, at times it needs some help. However, the food is so good we don't care (which is rare for us). Try it out! Reservations are highly recommended!
The Grille is always good unless you order a steak. They just can't seem to get their steaks right. Everything else is always perfect.
Very Impressed. This was our first time here and we were very impressed. The atmosphere was great, there was no wait on a Friday night for a party of 2, and the food was outstanding. I had the Jerk Mahi Mahi with Watermelon Pico de Gallo. It was spicy and sweet and fabulous. My husband had the Chilean Sea Bass and it did not disappoint. The dessert tray looked scrumptious. We will definitely be going back.
Great all around. Wife and I were in the area for a short over-nite weekend. Saturday nite without reservations and we had only a 40 minute wait. Quite acceptable. We had two cocktails each for what one glass of wine each would have cost. The meal was just excellent. The crab cake was wonderful. The six-ounce filet terrific and perfectly done to a medium rare. Service was prompt and professional. Above all, the atmosphere was relaxed with a "populated" sound background that meant the two of us could have conversation at a normal level and enjoy it. The same meal in Columbus would have been $30 more. For us that would be reason enough to go back, but the food is the real star here and we would definitely return for it.
Absolutely amazing! The waitress (Sarah) was wonderful and laid back on top of knowledgeable and friendly. The food was great. Smashed potato was perfectly seasoned and buttery. Asparagus was perfect and steaks were not only nice size and tasty but the chef had them cooked so well. No better word than perfect for every aspect of our meal and experience. - so pleased :)
I really liked this place.. There were 4 of us at 6:00pm on a Sunday night with a 20-Minute wait. It gave us a chance to try some signature drinks, I had the pineapple upside down Martini. YUM!! We were seated before I was finished with my Martini. Appetizers first Husband had stuffed Hungarian waxed peppers (average) Friends had seafood nachos (looked to rich for me). I had candied date on a ricotta potato cake. This was not on the regular menu but a special menu that they had. We drove an hour and a half from Pittsburgh Just to meet up with friends we do not get to see that often. If I knew this would be on the menu next time I went here I would drive an hour and a half just for this appetizer. Everyone loved their salad. Husband had the Caesar and there was an option on the special menu to switch out the salad for a specialty salad it had pistachios, cucumber noodles blue cheese and some wonderful mango dressing. Definitely worth the $2.00 to upgrade. Entries were admired by all I had a Black and Blue strip with side of garlic orzo. Nothing disappointed. If your only complaint is the seating is not fair, maybe you should make a reservation like you should for all fine restaurants.
Fried Semolina. This is actually deep fried fettuccine alfredo served with marinara sauce. Outstanding

Mrs. BZ. This is by far one of Youngstown's best restaurants, hands down. I was reading another review about how the wait was long and another foursome was seated first. They do take reservations and also call ahead seating. On a Friday or Saturday I would always recommend this to anyone. I did not think it was fair to rate the restaurant on a time frame to be seated. Make a reservation or call ahead...plain and simple. I love this restaurant for their fresh seafood, amazing appetizers and extensive wine list. I had my first Spanish wine here and fell in love! I also love the fact that if you have visited them more than twice; on most counts will remember and even know your name! The staff is super friendly and quick to accommodate!
Good stuff. One of my favorite area restaurants..try thr crabcakes...burgers...or a steak :)
Wonderful experience. My wife and I recently ate here for our valentines day dinner. It was fantastic and i would recommend it to anyone and I will definately be returning.
The cowboy steak was awesome and my wife loved the filet oscar.
