Great food love this place! They have an amazing happy hour and the ambience is nice and the Bar tenders are always nice. Eion is really cool. I love the drunken mussels, fries, bread and butter, the creamed spinach. Hotel Mac is a long standing Resturant. I used to come here as a kid with my parry table. It's pricey but the happy hour menu is awesome!!

This is a great old place that has a great history. It is tucked in the great little town of Point Richmond, off of Hwy 580 before the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge. It has quality food, drinks (full bar and a great selection of wine), and the nicest of people that serve you. The owner is lovely and if you go on your birthday and you are lucky she might sing for you - and what a lovely voice she has. Friday night is half off wine night and our favorite time to go. Great for a date, friends or family. Can't say enough good things. It keeps me going back and back and back . . .

There is a warm and inviting bar as you enter. Service was prompt and friendly. I enjoyed my salmon salad that featured wild caught salmon. Great place for an unhurried lunch with friends. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is the historic part of Point Richmond which dates back to the 1890s.

A hidden local gem. 1920’s style building and old school classy restaurant. Food is great and wine is good value.

Amazing! I would say this is one of the bay areas most hidden treasures. Tucked away in point Richmond in a building full of rich history that catapults you straight to the 1920s thankfully with the exception of the no colored signs but all jokes aside the food here is as rich in flavor and emotion as the cool antique interior design. The staff are impeccable but if you come here on a busy night they will politely tell you to make a reservation because Friday and Saturday nights can get insane. I’ve had nearly everything on the menu and nothing ever gets old. There is un overwhelming romantic vibe here so if you come with just a friend things can get real awkward but hey it may work out in your advantage as it also serves as a Hotel =)

Great old historic Hotel Mac restaurant and bar (and some rooms to rent) in Point Richmond, California. Restaurant is great, and the bar is congenial and comfy.
