First time in Point Pleasant actually looking for another breakfast place we Googled, but couldn't find it; instead found this gem! THE BEST Eggs Benedict I ever had! Big muffins toasted well done; poached eggs were perfect; hollandaise on point! It was SO good! Went to return on Monday b4 g
I stopped by this nifty cash only diner for the first time today. This place is very clean and has such a wonderful ambiance. The service and food is really good and the prices on the limited menu are extremely reasonable. I will most certainly be back again the next time I drive down to Point Pleas

While on vacation, we always try to walk to restaurants to get in some exercise and walk off a great meal.

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The wait staff was very pleasant and did a great job. The food was great. We had a party of seven, and there was a ham and cheese omelette with toast, there were some egg sandwiches, there were pancakes and other egg dishes ordered, and my wife and I enjoye

We absolutely love John & Elaine’s restaurant as do our children. It’s nice to see a multi-generational family owned and operated restaurant. The team is wonderful and very accommodating with food allergies. We highly recommend!

Their blueberry pancakes are to die for. I love their hot pastrami. The meat is tender and juicy just like my mother taught me to make. Portions are generous. I look forward to joining my friends there every week.
And this post I have five points to make.. first off.. we were sat immediately. My wife was in a bit of a hurry so that was convenient. Second off.. The server was on top of her game.. very fast.. very polite and prompt.. kept our glasses full... Third all the volumes were at the appropriate levels.
Brought my two children, 5 and 1 with me, the staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was extremely good, my 5 year old recommends the grilled cheese, 1 year old the fries. I can't recommend the pastrami reuben enough. Cash only.

Went here with my wife, son,daughter in law, granddaughter,and grandson for breakfast. The food was great The prices were reasonable The service was terrific. All in all it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to dine!
