Mandarin House

*UPDATE* I did ask for some extra spice, but all that was brought out was some sad chili flakes in a heavy oil. Gross. We can compare cuisines as you just did in your reply. You better learn the history of your restaurant. You used to be located on the other side of Yellowstone. No, I'm not talking about ChopSticks. I used to go there when I was in high school. They had really fresh food. Look it up. -------------------------------------------------------------------- After eating Thai for so long, the food here seems so bland. It's cooked well, but there just isn't anything here that tastes fresh and light. We've been coming here for a long time. Even frequented when they were near Grand Central. They need something new and fun on the menu. (Also, the tables need to be cleaned. They are so sticky that my plate stuck to the table)

We had a craving for Chinese food but are always a little skeptical of getting it when traveling. Based on other reviews we decided to try Mandarin House and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It appears to be a local favorite. We had Potstickers, Kung Pao Chicken, garlic asparagus and both fried and steamed rice. Everything was delicious and we see why it’s such a popular restaurant!

I just want to say that not only is their food very good. The people behind Mandarin are some of the most loving people. They have been with families through so many events in this community. Please support those who also care for and support their community with kindness, good food, and lots of giving back.
