I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS PLACE. It is very afordable and it's the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. I could honestly eat their tamales everyday. The beans and rice is to die for. I am a 100% fan of this amazing restauraunt.
The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. for any new people Trying this i would suggest getting the burritos trio if covers a wide range of flavors available here and it has a great price for the shear amount of food you get. this menu is way outdated though and they no longer offer their mole.

Fajita Feast. The Chicken, Shrimp and Beef Fajita was the filling meal I was looking for after a long flight. I'm sure the dish has the best El Herradero has to offer with all three major meats in the mix. The shrimp was plump, the chicken and beef were a bit chewy and it was loaded with sizzling veggies. Complimented by rice and refried beans, the platter hit the spot for me.
El Herradero is a nice laid back and cozy spot to have lunch. An unassuming restaurant from the outside, inside the servers were friendly and the atmosphere was like a small homey Mexican tavern with the decor and music playing in the background.
Probably the best Mexican around. The super nutrition rocks!

BEST Mexican food in town. This is the only mexican restaurant in town my family will eat it. The food is great, and you cannot beat the price. We have tried the spicy pork, chicken, and carne asada - all 3 are great, but we prefer the spicy pork or carne asada. This is a must have when you visit Pocatello.

Best Mex In Town. Love this place. Every time I'm back in P-town I have to hit it up. El Pastor and Adobada are amazing. The staff is great and very quick. I've only been to the one on Jefferson, so no idea on the other stores... but the Jefferson store rocks!

Service was great! Waitress was friendly and easy to speak with. Price was extremely reasonable, very generous with the amount of food and food was delicious. We are visiting from South Texas for a family emergency and were surprise when we found home quality Mexican food.
The menu items looked delicious and it was hard to pick something. I'd read some prior reviews and wanted something that provided a bit of a variety. So I chose the Trio Burritos. I wasn't disappointed at all. It was all really tasty. My wife got chicken and shrimp fajitas. It was very good as well.
The food was good and reasonably priced. However, we had a group there for a 75th birthday dinner and they got some dinners mixed up, forgot a couple and had to reorder, the fountain drink machine broke down so no refills.
In their defense, it got extremely busy about the time we were ordering our food.

Their street tacos are the best in the business I absolutely love their Carne Asada tacos are to die for!! So juicy and delicious and the pickled carrots and Jalapeños just make it that much better! If you have 16$ extra dollars I recommend taking you and your loved one for some tacos!
