The Bar-b-que

Amazing food and prices. We chose this place at random as I fancied a burger, my wife wanted some ribs. She had 1/2 rack of ribs with chicken, I had a lunchtime deal, Chicken Liver pate, then a bacon cheeseburger. The Pate was lovely, a very generous portion with 4 pieces of toasted fresh bread. It's been a while since I've had pate and I really enjoyed it, there's a small pot of onion relish and I wouldn't normally eat that but tried it, a great combination. If I had this with a salad it would have been more than enough for a main meal. The burger was enormous, a really nice tasting burger, not over seasoned, not overcooked, for me it was just right, after the mountain of pate I didn't think I would eat much but I was wrong, a good burger is always nice and I ate the lot. The Ribs were falling off the bone, a really thick and juicy rack, the chicken was definitely the winner of the fight, really juicy, lots of meat (I ate 1/2 of it to help my wife out), it came with fries, sweetcorn and coleslaw. All in all i would say it was exactly what we hoped for, a really good burger, a great rib and chicken taste and we certainly didn't leave hungry. If anything I would suggest wet wipes or something similar as I just tucked in with my fingers, food like this doesn't need a knife and fork. Would we go back? we're seriously considering driving all the way through the hellish Plymouth roadworks to have lunch there again this week.

This place is incredibly amazing with the food an the design of the place inside is just so welcoming, the staff are very helpful an approachable, great service makes the food great aswell, feels like home when i order here, everyone should have a bit of holy smoke in their life, i order the wood grilled nachos with hot wings every time, its just the best for lunch

Very tasty food, let down badly by everything else. Service was dreadful, drinks were forgotten and my friend had his beer taken away before he was finished. As another review said, they don't seem to know which sides come with which food. Heart radio means we spent a lot of the meal listening to the same ads on repeat. The decor was... bizarre. But they do delivery, so go get some brisket delivered to your door you can sidestep these problems.
