Happy Garden Restaurant

I ordered food and the lady that answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE. I’m trying to tell her my order and she’s rushing me the whole time. I work at a food place I know how it is when it’s busy and I am a really understanding person but the Level of ignorance was Appalling. Then I ask what they have to drink there and she literally screams “ YOU TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT ILL TELL YOU IF WE HAVE IT” ... so I told her and click she hangs up . So about 15 minutes goes by and I think to myself dang I didn’t even ask for extra duck sauce so I call back and ask to please send the driver with extra duck sauce and she screams “The Driver Already Left” and hangs up the phone. Ok if the driver left but say “I’m sorry our driver already left” don’t scream at me and then hang up the phone on me. Needless to say I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN. Or atleast not until that lady no longer has a job.

This spot is a Plymouth staple. I have been going there for YEARS. It’s some of the best americanized Chinese food you’re going to find anywhere. No fuss - just quick delicious fresh food. I always get steak teriyaki, chicken fingers, veggie fried rice, and scallion pancakes. Support them!! We love you Happy Garden.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had! my family been eating here for years-and it’s always so good! They must keep the same recipes-so you always know it will be amazing. Everything is flavorful and meats are tender, not dry. I grew up in Plymouth then moved to Texas and there is nothing like this in Texas! Whether you are a tourist or a local, you must give this restaurant a try. My suggestions are the chicken wings, lo mien, crab Rangoon, fried rice, and spareribs. Dinner plate averages around $10 but will be plenty of food for one person. I’ve noticed it takes longer to get served here because they’re always busy and they take their time perfecting the food but it’ll be worth the wait. Their delivery driver has been driving for them for years so they know all the streets in the area.This place has the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Thank you happy garden!
