Mission Taqueria

I’ve been avoiding this place as I heard it was over priced and over rated but it is not! Their happy hour deals are great where the margs and mojitos are $6 and the apps are $2 off! We got multiple items and they were all delicious! The drinks were also VERY good, flavorful and well boozy! The space is not big but we came with a group of 7 and were comfortable. The waitress was a bit confused about everything but it was still a pleasant visit. I will be back!

Small establishment. Very good with food and drinks. Had a margarita and the Mexican Mule. Not to strong but perfectly blended. Started off with the Griller Mexican Street Style Corn on a Cob and Nachos. Those alone was a meal. Tried lobster, chicken, brussel sprouts and steak tacos. Delicious. Very inexpensive meal. Service was pleasant. Definitely visit again.

I really like Mexican food and this is a fresh take on traditional Sonoran style. I enjoyed my meal of nachos & Rizz shakes excellent Rita’s. I prefer hot salsa, and was provided a sample of three that weren’t very caliente. So I asked for some of the fresh jalapeños used for the jalapeño margarita ( very good btw) and finally had enough heat to make my brow glow! Nice vibe, trendy decor and friendly staff! Recommended!

Ambiance is good and service is great. Yesterday was the second time my boyfriend and I ate here and we got the same order we previously had (he got lobster quesadillas and I got grilled chicken rice bowl). Lobster quesadilla was bomb. Rice bowl was alright (I think it needs to be more mexican in terms of taste, but it's alright). 🙂

Took our 10 year grandson who likes this place. It was packed on Saturday night. Only had to wait about 15 minutes. Started with excellent guacamole which obviously made in house with homemade corn tostados. It is topped with queso fresco and both pomegranate and toasted pumpkin seeds. My wife and grandson had the fish tacos which was mahi mahi , beer battered mahi with pico de gallo, avocado salsa, chipotle aioli, radish and a cabbage slaw, excellent. I had the Mexico City style Carnitas, 14 hour braised pulled pork topped with diced onions and cilantro. served with a salsa verde. The best carnitas I have ever had. Nice bar serving lots of tequila and margaritas, Mexican beers. Excellent service.
