Not your fancy restaurant. BUT, hold onto your hats! Food is delicious, get the salsa if you like it a bit spicy. Best salsa I've ever had in California. Also their Ranch style potatoes are fabulous & not greasy. I'm not a potatoes person & I almost ate them all. Eggs over easy were perfection. Gr
Another great breakfast! Love their Country Fried Steak and Eggs. Really good gravy. Fast service! Always busy, but they always find you a place to eat.
Good diner with an extensive menu. Service was good, but the food definitely isn't cheap. I spent $24 on a Two Egg breakfast with no meat + coffee. It may not seem crazy in California, but it's twice what I would've paid in other states.
Low carb options available, just ask. Service was good! Delicious food. Looking forward to trying something new next time!
Down home breakfast diner. Biscuits & gravy outstanding. Parking easy and plentiful.
I had the biscuits and gravy with one egg on top and hash browns with a side of sausage. The service was excellent,I suggest the biscuits and gravy.
What would Pleasanton be without Jim’s? We’ve been going there for probably 15 years. Super consistent, insanely generous serving sizes. Feels very much like an old school diner with servers that know their customers on a first name basis. You can’t ever go wrong here.
This restaurant is by far one of the best old style restaurants in the Bay Area. Great hospitality, service is amazing, the portions/food are perfect; portions are not too big but not too small. It reminds me of an old style breakfast restaurant in the south. I highly recommend it.
Got French toast with sausages and eggs. Food wasn’t bad, but nothing too spectacular. Fairly priced options. Waitress and staff were friendly. Despite how busy it was we were seated immediately. Two complaints: hash browns didn’t have any salt, and sausage had too much pepper.
Moved here from Texas, I have been looking for a good diner style burger. That is exact what I found here. I loaded it up with cheddar, avocado, bacon and grilled onions. It was a little more than I was used to but it was amazing and well worth it. Debat8on getting another tomorrow. Breakfast lo
My favorite breakfast spot. Always good fast service. Servers are very kind and always on top of keeping your drinks filled. Food is awesome and definitely plentiful. Also, this place gives me a 90s vibe along with the country music they play in the background. Definitely worth going if you’ve neve
I leave my home at 6:50 am ish to have breakfast at this place. I feel very much served here. Thank you. The eggs are fresh. English muffins are tasty. The sausage patties in the pictures were today's special. And ketchup on hash potatoes. Yum Breakfast! Hehe. Thank you for your business!
Great diner food. Prices are reasonable and service was very attentive. The decor looks like Grandma’s living room - friendly yet old, but a certain comfortable charm that says “no one will judge you for eating a 1000 calorie omelette here.” The patrons all appear to be families and farmers. Very cu
A great place for breakfast. Service was great and food was hot & comforting. Comfort food is worth the drive over the hill. Bright, clean & spacious restaurant with very nice bathrooms too. Leave your arrogance at the door.
Very accommodating staff with prompt service! The cozy seating and farm style decor prepped us for a large appetite. We ordered from the breakfast menu and everything was made just right. We will be going back for more of their scrumptious French toast!
Relaxed, Southern-style, comfort food. Awesome 3-egg omelette with chicken, avocado, mushrooms and spinach. Large portions, prompt service, and caring staff. My waitress Byrdie was very friendly and attentive and checked on me routinely without being invasive. Hope to return!
