Driving from Florida back to Illinois, saw this place on Google maps and wanted to give it a try. The place was very clean and I liked the atmosphere. The staff where attentive and friendly. Food was excellent! Staff is super friendly! We had a bigger group, so our wait was longer than others around us, but the owners were so accommodating.

Great place. If you're going for regular Tennessee Mexican food this is going to be a little different, so adjust your expectations. We got going early on this Sunday and found that “open” options were few. Thank goodness, otherwise we may not have tried Pedro’s Cocina. The food is fresh and the home made salsas have incredible flavor. Get the green salads - it has some kick, but it also has smoky undertones that are amazing.

The owner is extremely friendly and serves amazing food with an extra serving of hospitality. Prices are comparable to any local mexican restaurant with more authentic tastes. Everything is homemade and amazing. Especially the deserts which are 2 for $5.00

Chili Colorado is great! The chicken bowl is great too! We love Pedro’s!

Took a little while to get our food but it was delicious and our server was great! Never had to ask for napkins or drinks. Well worth the wait.

I have missed authentic Mexican since my Texas years and so happy to find Pedro’s. Everything was fabulous, but you must try the breakfast tacos with chorizo, huevos rancheros, fish and shrimp tacos, and OMG tres leches and flan. Next time we will try to ceviche!
