Review Koume Japanese Restaurant - Plantation

There are no words that describe the experience of eating here. It is the most pleasurable sushi restaurant I have eaten in. It is fun, they are innovative with rolls and creative with their presentations, it is darn near perfect. Don't let the fun ambiance fool you, Yoshi takes his art and food very seriously. Everything is fresh, sake is varied and the is no pretense at all. Relaxed, fun and so delicious!

Went there for the first time on 7/11 before the Blink-182 concert. The inside is amazing with all the figurines. I was sat by the wall and it was so nice to see people write really cute things about the place and the owner. We ordered the fried baby octopus and it was the most amazing thing I tasted. The batter was just perfect. I will say it’s not bad to dip it in some eel sauce. My boyfriend and I each ordered a roll. The presentation is really awesome. I think it’s pretty amazing they put a figurine with your roll. Mine was the Koume roll with Hello Kitty. The roll itself was pretty good. It was fresh. I usually order a rainbow roll but this was better. The staff was nice and attentive even if we were the only ones in there. If I lived closer I would at this restaurant like every weekend (drove from wpb to come here).

Chef of amazing and full of energy! Won't find a chef as friendly and energetic as he is! The food was fresh! Very fresh! I'm a sashimi lover and the sashimi was flavorful. U suggest to come visit Louie and experience the greatness of this place. FYI, make sure to reserve a table.

The sushi rolls were huge and delicious. We love anime so we came here for the atmosphere mainly but the food was definitely bomb and worth returning for. My daughter picked this place for her birthday and was so excited to just be here, but the birthday dessert blew her mind lol we weren't expecting that magnitude at all, she was soooo happy and that alone was worth 5 stars. The staff was very nice, and the owner (I think) was very hands on with everyone and made it so fun! We will definitely be back :)

My family dined-in on a Monday evening and received wonderful customer service. We love that the restaurant is decorated with anime action figures. Toshi made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the grape & lychee Ramune sodas. The food came out quickly and was served hot. Nico ate the chicken ramen while Jon had the chicken noodles and I had shrimp noodles. Jon also enjoyed the tornado roll that was served alongside of Spider-Man. We look forward to returning to try more of the menu.

This place is amazing. Small and intimate, Toshi is a character and gives the place a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The food is AMAZING, always fresh and presented with the so much care. Each dish comes with its own Anime Character. I'd recommend this spot ten times over.

This is the best place for sushi in the 954. The Owner is outstanding, and he's 'Human' Make a reservation. It's always packed. The rest is a suprise! 'See you tomorrow!'

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an excellent sushi restaurant, and I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly owner who made me feel right at home. The restaurant had a cozy and intimate atmosphere, with traditional Japanese decor and soft lighting. The sushi bar was the centerpiece of the restaurant, where the skilled chefs worked their magic. The owner personally took the time to explain the different types of fish and ingredients used in each dish, showcasing his passion and knowledge for sushi. I highly recommend this restaurant to any sushi lover looking for an extraordinary culinary experience. You won't be disappointed!

The ambiance here is incredible. We got to meet the owner and he is a ray of sunshine. He is so happy and bubbly, even at the end of the night. The sushi is INCREDIBLE! We both loved our rolls. Can't wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. They were completely full but we were lucky to get a table. I love sushi rolls but do not eat raw fish. I appreciate that the menu had labeled sections and it was easy to see the options of sushi rolls I would like that did not include raw fish. They also had kitchen options on the back for those that do not like sushi. I had the samurai roll and my mom ordered beef pan fried noodles. We will definitely be back!
