Hopeful but major letdown.
My family came to this restaurant with the intentions on eating at Sichuan Cuisine but we're disappointed seeing a different name.
I suggested we give it a shot. The decor was the same, so thought it might be the same restaurant but with a new name... We were wrong.
Upon entering the restaurant, there's a very noticeable smell of raw sewage permeating the place. We thought it was a bathroom issue but would later come to find no such smell there.
My Mom asked some questions about the menu and decided on the spicy shrimp. Unfortunately, the shrimp were still in their shells. Removing the shells removed all flavor from them.
We also got the minced beef soup with egg but it had almost no flavor and very little egg.The soup needs more egg and less meat and far less veggies.
I chose the General Tso chicken but the batter was far too thick. About a 50/50 ratio and it was doughy.
We ordered some steamed dumplings and while good as they, you're forced into having them with spicy hot sauce. Spices should compliment your food, not be the main reason you ordered it. The dumpling sauce being spicy was masking poorly prepared dumplings.
Unfortunately, rice is extra, which is fine usually but a meal for $10-20 should have a side included.
The rice was great, which is hard to mess up though.
After we finished, I went to check out the restroom, to see where the sewage smell was coming from. As I got further from the kitchen, the smell became lessened.
I do not recommend eating here until several things have changed, including the smell.

Have been here on one previous occasion and went again recently. The most recent visit there was a sewage type smell as soon as entering the place which was not very pleasant. The guy who took our order was very
nice and helpful ordered the P1 South-west spicy crispy chicken and the N7 Hot and numbing noodle soup. The waiter let us know that the noodles did not actually come in soup. The food came rather quickly. The sauce for the noodles were on the bottom so required mixing, it tasted good however the noodles themselves were a bit soft. The spicy crispy chicken was good however I think I prefer the P2 Spicy crispy chicken which isn't coated before frying.

I admit I was skeptical as to how this would be. I had not been here since it changed ownership from Sichuanese Cuisine to Sichuan Folk. My expectations were pleasantly exceeded! Everything was delicious. I had the H31 with intestines and pork blood in hot pot. Amazing! If you’ve never had intestines (or blood cake), don’t be scared to try it. They will also happily adjust to your spice level. I’d also recommend the dumplings, scallion pancake, and cumin lamb. They even boxed everything up for us, and I can’t say enough about how attentive our server was. Will most certainly be coming back again and again for my mala fix.

This place is a hole in a wall. It has been around for 10+ years. The food is delicious but the place feels run down, old and dirty but that’s usually where the yummy food is right? Ha ha
The spicy boiled beef is our favorite. The cold cuts made of beef, tendon and tripe is so good too.

My first time eating here, went with my son and friend. They had eaten here before.
Small but nice restaurant.
All the food was freshly made and delicious, I especially liked the sichuan boiled fish it was very flavorful, little spicy and not fishy (I'm not a fish person). The twice cooked pork needed a little more flavor.
Staff was friendly, wore masks.
I highly recommend trying it out😋
bon appétit..“chī hǎo hē hǎo”..enjoy your meal”
Stay safe, get vaccinated and wear your mask.

The menu contains a variety of chinese foods. My friend and I enjoyed eating there. We tried spicy food and non-spicy simultaneously. They all are delicous. Parking is free, and you can easily find a spot. The location is easy to be found as well.

I've been coming to this place for a while. Hands down, BEST Sichuanese restaurant in DFW area, especially for the price. We order the twice cooked pork every time. Absolutely amazing. Smoked tea duck is one of my favorites as well. You can't go wrong with them.

The food is absolutely amazing! We had the Dan dan noodles, orange chicken, garlic chicken and an appetizer of dumplings. Everything was absolutely amazing. There is food splattered on the walls by the tables and the restaurant smells a little weird when you walk in but the food is so delicious. We live an hour away but we will definitely be back.
