Papa John's has gone into the toilet with customer service. They can't keep drivers and contract with Grubhub for delivery. The management at this store is frankly poorly trained. Had an issue where the wrong pizzas were delivered. Called and the manager said the correct pizzas would be right out. Called an hour later and waited on hold for 30 minutes. Called corporate on the other phone. Finally got through to the store manager and put the phone on speaker so the corporate rep could hear. Manager stated they tried to deliver the second and could not find the house. We order food 3-5 times per week and no one ever not found our house. Easy to find, well marked and on the corner. He stated that they can't deliver my food rudely with the corporate rep listening. Asked why no one called if they were lost. He said they are busy and I am not getting my order. Corporate rep stated he would file a complaint and we would hear back in 48 hours. Said he could not believe the manager acted that way hearing for himself. Never heard anything back, no acknowledgment, no appology, nothing. Why does the Dominos in the same area have no problem keeping drivers? I can handle mistakes from time to time, but flat out lying, there is little Papa John's can do to earn my business back.

Worst service i have ever head from a pizza place. I have ordered 3 times from here and the first one over an hour and a half late and didnt bring the right order so i had to go up there and wait for them to make it. Second time the were on time. This time there are running about 30 minutes behind. You guys aint got enough brains or sense to deliver the correct order. Yall are trash and should be shut down.

I will give a zero star if I can. Placed a pick-up order of Large Epic Stuffed Crust Cheese Pizza with Grilled Chicken, Pineapple, and got a Pepperoni pizza and found a HAIR inside the pizza. I called the store, waited for 25 minutes before anyone picked it up. The gentleman found my order, and after I explained the situation, he said "I can't help you right now", then he HUNG UP ON ME! That is not what I expected to hear. I called the second time, waited for 5 minutes, then GOT HUNG UP AGAIN! Maybe they recognized my caller ID? NOT ONLY I GOT THE WRONG PIZZA WITH A HAIR IN THERE, I GOT HUNG UP THE PHONE TWICE!!!!! Papa Johns at this store used to be my favorite place, but I don't know what happened. They don't care about their customers anymore.

So I ordered about a month ago and got a cold pizza 2 hours later from door dash. Ordered today at 525pm at 7p decided to cancel and spent 10 minutes navigating their phone system to get someone not at the store, then after a discussion with them got transferred to the store and after a wait finally canceled my order. At 715p it showed up but by then I had already gone a different route for dinner so I refused the order. Papa Johns used to be my favorite place but whatever has happened lately with door dash has made them a consistent disappointment.

Unbelievable and Insanely disrespectful establishment at this Independence location. I'm also contacting corporate because the Owner and it's Managers need to be held accountable. I ordered Papa John's today and last week. Last week my pizza arrived an hour & forty minutes late. It was cold and wrong. They gave me 50% discount on my next purchase and I thought that's not to bad. I called today to redeem it and the staff didn't sound to happy to give it and my pizza not only took another hour and a half! They left all 4 boxes outside on the ground with no knock or phone call in 40° weather for 10 mins. I only looked out the window and saw them sitting there! I am to irrate to call! I'm flabbergasted to the max.. I never right bad reviews but this is my first. Wow! Reaching out to corporate soon.

Very disrespectful manager! I placed my order on line for my child's school. Parked in drive-up-pick let them know in the app and walked in to let them know that I had made it. I was told we will wave when your order is ready. I said you can't bring it to my car, I'm in one of the drive-up-pick parks. They had a full work crew "by the way" and I was told I guess I'll have one of them bring it to you. That was so disrespectful and unprofessional. I can understand if the place was short workers. But they wasn't. If the order was ready I had no problem at all bringing it to my car. Come on treat people like you want their business.

The young cashier was really hospitable and friendly. He seems like a diligent worker with a good attitude. The pizza was as always great! I’ve been eating Papa John’s for 10+ years and it just keeps getting better. Love the speediness and tastiness of this Papa John’s.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Britney shouldn't be in customer service, the pizza was under cooked, and their driver knocked over the pizzas so they were all smooshed. Britney, the general manager, said "I remember making that pizza and I made it as it came in". I reviewed my order about 3 times to be sure there was no meat on the right side. I had a feeling I should take a screen shot. Always listen to those gut feelings and DO NOT PAY CASH TO these people. Britney was dismissive. She tested me as if I was trying to get a free meal. News flash. I earn 6 figures and own a business. I wouldn't do that but I do expect them to fix the issue. I ate all the crusts bc I was hungry but my husband didn't eat bc the dough under the toppings was way under cooked. She had the never to say they would gladly pick up the pizza and deliver another, as to ensure none of it was eaten. Normally I think people can be coached into a position but it's clear she's not cut out for any management. Normally I order from Marcos pizza bc they have really good pizza and rarely make mistakes but decided to try Poppa John's bc of the stuffed crust. Never again. I'm going back to Marcos pizza because they value their customers and provide quality. I'm shocked that a manager made that pizza. You would think management would get it right. How can you expect employees to get something correct when their leader can't.
