We tried Hammbone Willy’s for lunch yesterday. The restaurant was very open and larger inside than it looked. The onion rings were huge and a large portion. The breading was very light and not greasy. The flavor was delicious. I had the margarita chicken salad, which was very fresh and tasty. I loved the pomegranate flavor and the jicama gave it a nice crunch. The ranch dressing was good, as well. I thought the spicy ranch was a bit too hot for me. The double burger was seasoned perfectly but over cooked. It was definitely well done. Next time we will specify that it be cooked medium. The peach tea was very good and refreshing. A great place for a delicious quick lunch.

Stopped in for lunch; we heard Kenny Mills was the Chef. We had Texas Dip, Lone Star Sliders, Hatch Green Chili Queso & Chips, & half order of Onion Rings. Being from NM, we had to try green chili dishes; It was lots of food. Everything tasted awesome! Our pics cannot do justice, to the tastes. Small craft brew bar. Hybrid dining; order line, with food brought out to tables and they check on you. Remember this style, when tipping at time of order (or have cash ready). Great service & personable people. I’d bring my real estate clients here.

Just tried Hammbone Willy's for the first time - won't be the last - but I'll be better prepared for the next round. Here's what you need to know. First, go HUNGRY. This isn't your average burger place - this is a serious burger! Honestly, I'd suggest you split a burger with someone if you're going to eat the queso and onion rings - soooo much food! Now, I would normally say that the meal was a bit pricey, but we did order queso, onion rings, burgers and drinks - which was too much food for two people, so while the bill was at $31, it was honestly a lot of food for the money. I ordered the Smoked Brisket Burger - that's a burger WITH brisket AND bacon...yup, all that! One of the best burgers I've ever had. My buddy got the Brisket sandwich - also incredible (he gave me half and I took it home). The queso was good (not great, but good) - but the onion rings with the "creamy poblano sauce" were the BEST! Sweet tea was good, other fountain drinks were ok - stick with the tea! OK, so I've been back now FOUR times in the past two weeks - watch out, this place will be come your favorite burger place quickly! I've tried a couple other burgers/sandwiches - just had the "french dip" - they added green chiles which gave it a nice flavor - had the brisket sandwich as well and it's great. Also, had the sweet potato fries for the first time and they're great, too! Again, while it's a little pricey, you definitely get plenty of food - and I would suggest splitting a meal - cuts down the costs and there is plenty of food to go around!

Pretty big menu. Fries and onion rings were delicious. Burger and bean burger could use more seasonings. Lots of topping options. Good service.

Great Customer Service. Staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made very good suggestions. I had the Wrangler add bacon and a side of onion rings. Everything tasted great. Next time I will get desert first!

Had to try the smoked brisket burger and it did not disappoint. You might get the meat sweats as there are no veggies other than the 3 slices of pickles that complement it.
