Unfortunately I'm unable to consume dairy, but I enjoy their other foods.
21 shrimp & fries is a great price, tastes amazing, service is pleasant and quick.
Only bummer is that they are seasonal.

Dean's Ice cream is sooo good! They have hand dipped fresh ice-cream. with a lot of ways to enjoy it. I would recommend the hot fudge with peanut butter sauce sundae or the Turtle Sundae. So good!

I used to save my allowance to buy candy here after a day of basketball. Now I bring my family for the ice cream and a walk on the trestle. Dean's IS Plainwell.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. The ice cream and shakes are always wonderful. I got A Monster shake made with Blue Moon ice cream. If you're not from around Michigan and have never had Blue Moon is very good and I've yet to find a way to truly describe it's awesome flavor.
The park next door on the riverfront is a very nice place to enjoy eating the great food offered here.

Homemade dairy-free ice cream! Tastes excellent! Great food, great ice cream. We got six shrimp dinners and split them with our kayaking group as well as our ice cream. Beautiful location next to a park along the Kalamazoo River

Was craving a chili cheese dog big time. Their chili dogs do NOT disappoint. Really good chili! We've had their burgers and chicken tenders before, and we love those too. Their food is great quality! I'm not one who eats fast food either. This is much better quality than that!!! Great prices too!

Deans is quality. Plain and simple. Its a great location as well to hang out by the river and enjoy your treat! It can get busy in tourist season, plan your visit wisely!! Highly recommended! Enjoy!
