Walked in had a nice ice cold IPA and to my surprise the food is amazingly good! I got the tuna tartare special which was thick chunks of tuna w avocado and seaweed salad, w some kind of sauce and chips to acc
The name fooled us, but the food and drinks have us going back frequently. The staff is super friendly and the portions are filling. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun sports bar or even a place for a casual date night.
My parents were visiting and we wanted to take them out to dinner but my dad is very picky and like "Normal" places to eat. We chose to come here and it was absolutely perfect. Our waitress Madison was very happy and made suggestions to help us order. All of the food was great as were the drinks.
Great place to meet up with friends and family and have a great time watching sports and cheering on your favorite team. The service was excellent and the food is on point. This place is popular amongst the locals so arrive early or you'll be waiting to get in. Cheers!

Went to The Main Event at Plainview a few nights ago for dinner and had a nice time. Plainview is one of two locations out on Long Island, NY. The other one is at Farmingdale, which I think is larger.

This place has to be within my top two of places going out to eat. There is a huge menu, never had a a disappointment in the food, and service is top notch. First time here today. Love the the decor & atmosphere inside. Lots of flat screen TVs for sporting events. The service was great and my Caesar salad with grilled shrimp was delicious. My friend had a tossed salad with grilled chicken & loved it as well. We'll be back for happy hour soon!

This place is a very nice place. I had the chicken nachos which were excellent. The BBQ wrap was amazing. The waitress was nice and friendly. They has plenty of Tvs to watch for your favorite sport.
The Main Event is a really good place for a wonderful casual dining experience. Plus it is a terrific sports bar with tons of large screen televisions all over the place! It is also a fun place with lots of great spots photos and memorabilia.

An exciting spot that makes you feel at home. At The Main Event there are great views of all the TVs at almost every seat, amazing food and drinks. If you are looking to watch your favorite sports team they will be up on the screens for you to enjoy. There is plenty of seating and parking.
Great place for food, drinks and takeout. We go or takeout every week. Good portions. A bit pricier than other pubs..more like regular restaurant pricing, but we don't mind when portions are good.
