El Palacio Restaurante

El Palacio is a good local spot with pretty good Salvadoran cuisine. It’s on the pricey side for a local place in Plainfield but it’s worth trying. I do take out from here often and the food is always good. Only down side is it seems that no one speaks English, which may be a hard barrier to get over but luckily the menus have photos. The staff are attentive and it’s pretty clean. Definitely worth stopping in.

The worse customer service experience ever. I will never be returning to this restaurant. I came in on my lunch break to sit down and enjoy a quick meal and the waitresses stand around and gossip don’t ask if you would like to place an order, give an attitude if you ask to see the menu, talk about you to each other in spanish if you change anything on your order (I speak spanish so they must not have known I knew what they were saying), and they dont even provide proper utensils. No one is even in here and with 3 servers I have to chase them down to get anything.

I ordered twice and twice I got different prices . The third time I came my rice was completely undercooked , my chicken was undercooked and the ladies there were completely rude . Its expensive and there not consistent with the food quality. Your basically taking a chance. do not ask for a refund because you definitely wont get one . I would recommend going somewhere else honestly. I had high Hope's for this place and I was let down , i dont want anyone else to be . Please do not waste your hard earned money here .

Been going there for years. A little too expensive for the food they try to serve you. The cook sometimes messes up the orders. And there are a couple of girls who know how to make my coffee just the way I like it. The morning crew are not my favorite people. The manager in the morning crew is not very pleasant at all. I love the afternoon crew even though they constantly keep hiring new people. Other than that I love the fact that they play music and you can charge your phone. The place 9 out of 10 is clean and especially the restroom.
