Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

#AccordingToArmon Dear Management, First off, I am normally a really lenient & friendly reviewer but I have to be honest on this one. On Friday, April 29, 2022 at 9:30p, It took almost 25 minutes to be seated in a restaurant that was more than half empty. When we walked, we were barely greeted as the greeter acted as if she could not speak. Shelly our waitress on the other hand did a phenomenal job as she was very timely, responsive & professional! If it were not for Shelly, if it were possible, this review would have been a 0 star all the way but ONLY because of Shelly; it will receive a 1 star. We ordered 2 Royal Robin Burgers with one of them being a Double for an extra $3; we also ordered side salads and endless sweet potato fries which were very cold & the side salad was good but they only gave me about 9 fries so after 2 bites, I was needing to ask for more already. I also asked for no mayo on my burger and they gave me extra mayo. The bathrooms were filthy and the silverware & cups were not clean either. Thank God that my wife’s food was decent or this would have been a complete waste of a trip. I don’t know what it is but it seems as if the quality of restaurants in Indianapolis and surrounding areas are going downhill. I know people have bad days but this is getting a little ridiculous. I definitely would not be returning to this location. Please do better Red Robin as this is extremely unacceptable.

How do we say we love burgers? Because we do. Red Robin is the top of my list for really tasty burgers. Every time I go here I try a different burger. Today's was the famous Mad Love Burger. The name should lead you down that road of realization there is nowhere else you can go to get love in a burger. Very tasty. Enjoyed the experience. Thanks.

We've dined here a couple of times and are usually pleased with the food and service. It's not my favorite place as it is usually loud but my daughter wanted to go for her birthday the other day. We arrived shortly before 6pm on a Tuesday and were told that it would be an hour wait to be seated. Even though the parking lot was half empty, the only other people we saw potentially waiting for a table was a mother and daughter, and a large group (at least 6 people, I didn't count) was leaving just as we arrived. I also noticed that the restaurant was fairly quiet. On other occasions, when it is full, it is very loud. To be fair, the hostess takes your name and # so there could have been quite a few people who were on the list but had gone across the street to the mall while waiting. But I would assume that the lobby would have been full of people who's estimated wait time was almost up. I'm assuming that they must also be experiencing staffing issues like everyone else. Again, not their fault. However, I would recommend that you call ahead to get on the list if possible. I can't comment on the food or service this time because we decided drive over to the mall while we waited. Then we decided to check a local Italian restaurant nearby, which was able to seat us on their patio immediately so we ate there instead.

We went to the restaurant on Father's Day 2022. We went mid-afternoon hoping to avoid the meal time rush. We thought it odd that there was only a few cars in the parking lot when we arrived. Upon entering we were told that it would be 20-25 minutes before we could be seated even though the restaurant looked like it was practically deserted. We waited and was finally seated. Waitress was excellent although you could tell that she was only 1 of 2 waitresses in the entire restaurant. Food was good and fry refills came when requested. I realize that they were short handed, but we would have been happier if we had been shown to a table and served drinks. It will be awhile before we try this restaurant again.

Arrived at 11:30 am on a Tuesday to an empty restaurant and a welcoming staff. Two of us were quickly seated in the bar area and our orders taken. Food arrived quickly, within 10 minutes. We both chose a spicy burger. The Heat or similarly named Burger. I ordered Onions Rings as my side for $1.49 extra. Lunch toddler $20 + tip. Good meal.

The BEST experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant!! We drove 2 hours to it for Valentine’s Day because it’s my favorite restaurant and the people were SO unbelievably nice!!!! Our waitress was so sweet and down to earth. I loved how she kept calling us “friends” it made the experience so enjoyable!! You could also tell all the employees were throughly glad to work there. I will definitely be back 100%!!
