Franks diner is delightful! The breakfast here was better than any breakfast spot I’ve been to here in the city. The vibe was super homely and Frank and his wife were so very pleasing! I don’t know when, but I’ll make it a point to get back out the Franks diner—hopefully sooner rather than later!

My wife and I got the chance to meet Frank while passing through on our road trip. He is kind, personable, passionate, and a wealth of cooking stories and history, a real chef vet! The food is phenomenal as well as the view. Especially with the bald eagles flying over head. Thank you Frank for welcoming us and the surprise bread pudding, it was amazing!
If Frank offers you the daily burger special, please do yourself a favor and order it. Best burger of my life. The setting is truly spectacular as well.

My wife and I stayed at Finnon lake for three days, and decided to try out Franks Diner for dinner. The weather was Hot so we decided to split a large Chinese Chicken Salad (asian salad). It was the Absolute BEST Chinese Chicken Salad (asian salad) we have Ever had! The greens were fresh, Chicken was good, Large sides of sauce each, Topped off with homemade crunchy strips on top! And two HUGE Servings, billed as one large salad! The Food was great, Frank was Very Hospitable, and we ate outside and enjoyed looking out over the lake. He even gave us some ice water for our dog to drink. We picked up two 7lb bags of ice from him after we ate. what a great place and a very nice host! We WILL be back!!!
Very good food! Large portions & very reasonable prices. The outside seating next to the lake was beautiful. The only downside of my experience was the rude waitress.
