Great spot! Small family owned, very personable. Everything here is delicious! We discovered this spot by accident but ended up coming 3 times in a row on purpose after that. The Champurrado is freshly made and delicious πŸ˜‹
The carne asada is really good and tender, the coffee with cinnamon is yummy. The menudo and pozole are ok, missing a bit of flavor but it’s ok. The service was really good . If they add a bit more flavor to the caldos this spot would be a 9/10 but currently I’m giving it a 7/10.
There are several Mexican restaurants in Old Town Placentia, including one that seemingly everyone says is the best not just here, but for miles. This however, is our favorite, though admittedly we've many left to try. Not among the fanciest but it is bright and clean and for flavor, generous portio
Complementary chips and salsa as soon as I sat down. Carne asada wet burrito has a perfect spice to it. Chicken taco tast very fresh. Very nice people and a clean restaurant.
if you want a comfortable country place: for breakfast come here. I will gladly assist you fatima.
Tayli great customer service πŸ‘Œ I came in for a torta de asada and I gotta say it's delicious πŸ˜‹
You will not be disappointed. Everything was good. The food was tasty and the restaurant was nice and clean.
I stopped by for some champurrado and it was delicious, not to sweet which was perfect on flavor.
Food is delicious!! Every time we go, the owner comes out and talks to us for a bit. Everyone that works there are very nice!!
Our first time here food was great service was great as well, maybe a bit of music would be nice but deffenetly will come back.
Lunch: Very surprising place. Full Mexican food menu. The fish tacos I had were very good. Unlike others, fish was lightly breaded and fresh. The Mixed seafood ceviche was very good and plentiful. One of the best I had. Price was very reasonable. I’m definitely coming back and bring friends. Oh, the
I had the Mole Poblano on Sunday: it was D.E.L.I.C.I.O.S.O. Rise and beans, they are sooo good. I had the Albondigas (meatballs) not good at all. No seasoning either on the broth or the meatballs. The vegetables were hard (including the potatoes) and the meatballs could be a little bit more tender,
I hate giving small independent shops like this a bad review... Their prices and service are great, but I found the meat a little greasy. I've eaten here other times and it's been great. Give them a shot.
Tacos are all I've had here, and they're all really good--full of meat and very flavorful. The owner seems to be the order taker, the server, and the cashier. Sometimes they're quick sometimes with your order, sometimes slow. That's why the 4 stars. Usually pretty empty, with so many competitors ar
This was our first time here & it was excellent, food was good. Ordered the carne asada fry's they were delicious & our main dishes were also good.
Out of town visitor so I went by the comments here when looking for a place to eat and it turned out I wasn't let down by y'all. We had the steak burrito, quesadillas and also split a plate of the supreme nachos. All three items were really good and I especially liked the salsa. Our bill was under $
