A hidden gem deep in the heart of Munhall. Yes, it’s a dive bar with a Middle Eastern menu. We had the Baba Ganouj, Hummus, Gyros (we went on a day they had a $5-gyro special), and two (of the four) different types of Baklava. Let me preface by saying I HATE eggplant, but love Baba Ganouj - which, when made correctly/traditionally, tastes far from the bitter, spongy version every other cuisine seems to put out. Gyros we’re nicely seasoned and worth well beyond* the $5 special. CRISPIEST. FRIES. EVER. The baklava I got to try personally, wasn’t soggy, and had such a good amount of pistachios. They did have a separate dining area where I’m gonna venture out and say families are welcome. Additionally, they offer take out, which seemed to never stop coming through while we were there for lunch - a beautiful sign of a growing business, in my opinion.

Went to try something different and the ppl working are friendly and it’s hard to pick one thing so I got the family platter for the variety and the lamb sandwich. Everything was delicious and I’ll be back to try other things. Baklava was fabulous too! Update, been a few times for take out and eat in. Grape leaves, tabouli, baked kibbee, all delicious! Must try!

This was my boyfriend and my first time eating here. Wow! Our taste buds lit up with every bite of food. With every bite of food, we said, "Wow! This is REALLY great!" The baklava was amazing too. Not overly sweet. The atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. There is a separate section for smoking and non smoking individuals. If you want authentic mediterranean food, then this is definitely place to eat at.

Babylon is the perfect family owned restaurant and bar in all of Pittsburgh. They have the best middle eastern dishes and that's coming from a middle eastern person. What's even better is they have American food options as well. The service is beyond exceptional, the family that owns Babylon is genuine, very friendly, and definitely create an environment I plan to consistently come back to. It's also nice how the bar is in a separate room from the main dining area. They have an electronic juke box that you can play music from your phone. The overall ambience is great, and once again the food and service is EXCEPTIONAL.
