Comfy, tasty, and friendly.
Food was great. Tasted like home cooked except better because it's a home that serves dozens of meals on a grill that shares the flavors between all of them. All of us were happy with the food. It was reasonably priced.
The waitresses were accomodating to our party of 10 with 4 children and an infant. One of the waitresses played eye candy with my 1 year old and it was cute.
The place is quaint, in a nice part of town, and isn't yuppy. It was full of nice people enjoying the atmosphere. Local news was on in the background and the soda machine reminded me of going out when I was a kid.

Ownership changed. The previous staff was very comfy and inviting. This new group was good too. Food order this time was simple.

The waitresses are a delight each and every visit and I’ll put the Spanish omelet with home fries up against any breakfast in the city. The Allegheny Sandwich Shoppe had a great run, but this place is even better under new ownership!

I get take out most of the time and when I walk in the food is coming out of the kitchen right on time still hot. Recommend the meat lovers scramble.

Food is always what I expect, service, I don't think the waitress could have done any better since she was by herself, but non the less it took a while especially when you're busy and only get a short time. Overall good

Breakfast was delicious. I had the Western Ave Western Omelet which was loaded with ham, onion, peppers tomatoes and cheddar cheese. The home fries were perfect and just a just a really good flavor. I really enjoyed it and I'll definitely be back.

Tasty and classic breakfast and lunch menu. Nothing overly fancy but great tasting and generous serving size.
Was visiting from out of town and went for breakfast. Enjoyed it so much we went back the next day!
Ordered the breakfast bagel and it was delightful. Also tried their Marble Rye toast, which was a bit special!

This place is a hidden gem. The service and the food are great. I got my order in about 10 mins, not a long wait. Very nice place and the people are nice as well.
