Mola - Pittsburgh - Photo album

This is a good Asian restaurant. We make reservation in advance and easy got table for 6 people. The owner, very kind women, works along the other workers. The food was delicious and service is fast. We only have some misunderstood with soup, cause we ordered three, but they brought two. We said tha
Mola is divine, but it’s nearly impossible to get seated on the weekend without a reservation. The chef flies in fish fresh daily! Incredibly fresh fish selection in Pittsburgh and unique, tasty sushi.
The best Omakase sushi experience I have had in Pittsburgh. The service was excellent, Rob made us feel very welcome, the food was delicious and each course of the 3-hour Omikase meal was well prepared with nicely-balanced flavors. The best part about the Omikase experience was that they overdelive
Ordered the sushi lite set along with a crispy tuna roll. The sushi was very good and loved the crisps on the roll and the spiciness it had. The California roll was also very fresh along with the rest of the fish pieces given. Would love to try more on their menu.
I've had their sushi several times already, and Mola is definitely my favorite in Pittsburgh. Do yourself a favor and stop by here if you're looking to get great tasting (and in my opinion, nice larger cuts) of sushi. Start off your meal with some pork belly bao and/or spicy edamame, and end it with
Superb sushi! Though somewhat pricey, we just couldn't stop ourselves from ordering more and more sashimi and rolls and bahn and yummy deserts. The best I've had in Pittsburgh. And the service and atmosphere were excellent.
Excellent food and service. The server was extremely nice and helpful. We tried a variety of sushi and it was all very tasty and reasonably priced for the high quality. Menu has a lot of interesting and varied options. Great place for Japanese food in general. Will 100% go again.
Wow!! As someone who has lived in Japan and currently lives on the coast I was hesitant about getting sushi in Pittsburgh. I'm glad to say I was proven completely wrong. This was some of the best sushi I have had in years. Look no further - going to any other sushi restaurant in the city would be a
My partner and I basically tried one of everything and it's all so good! it's small on the inside so keep this in mind if you choose to go during a busy time. the sushi is fresh and delicious and HUGE! the service was wonderful and staff was completely prepared and attentive to allergies.
Well serves it's purpose. Nice and clean, friendly wait staff without hovering, tasty Asian food. Would return in the near future. On the main strip in East Liberty, convenient to the bus route. Showed sports on the TV for all customers to watch. Relatively small dining area, but I didn't see anyone
1st time experience and won’t be the last! The best quality sushi! Our waitress was very attentive and help us navigate around the menu because we were newbies!
Wonderful food and service. The udon and bao bun were delicious!
Mola is truly a gem in Pittsburgh. I consider it a top 5 restaurant in this city, and it’s family run! You honestly will not get fresher, better quality fish for price. After speaking with the owner and chef Alex, I learned that the fish is sourced and shipped directly from Japan - I’m not surprised
Every time my wife and I go here we have a magnificent time! The servers are super friendly, well informed about the menu, and attentive. The food is absolutely scrumptious! If you love sushi/sashimi, then you need to go here!
best restaurant in Pittsburgh! All super fresh fish flown in straight from Japan that you can’t find anywhere else in Pittsburgh and great service. Their Hokkaido uni is out of this world, and be sure try their different bluefin toros (chutoro, kamatoro). You can find all high end, quality sushi her
Good sushi and fair prices. I love that they have a big menu and they accept changing the dishes according to your needs (allergies, preferences). It gets packed easily because the place is small so make sure to have a reservation. Try the desserts!
The chirashi bowl comes with a large portion and the sashimi on top were fresh and delicious. They also got really good mochi.
This place is EXCELLENT, super fresh sushi, very creative fusion, lots of authentic options. Twice in one week and recommending everywhere I go. Pork and chive dumplings are slap-your-granny’s-hand-away good!!!!! The highest metric for food. Beyond 10/10, 10,000% will be returning. WATERMELON JUNGLE
Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh. I've never had a dish that I didn't enjoy, service is amazing, and I always feel special every time I'm there. When I walk in, there's several people (including one of the owners) who always make sure to greet me by name. The poke bowls are f
