Azorean Cafe - Pittsburgh - Photo album

The guy who runs this place is so freaking nice!!! The portions are big, the atmosphere is adorable, and the dishes seem to be authentic Portuguese. We went during the week so it wasn't super busy, and the food came out quickly! Plenty of vegetarian or meat-centric options
First time here. Pleasant experience. Chorizo/Chourico skillet is very good. My heart and par of excellence award as a foodie went to the Apple Pasty. You can get it hot or cold with extra cinnamon that you put on if you need more. Pittsburgh Juice Company juices are sold here. Definitely had
Great atmosphere and service. Good for brunch or lunch with breakfast items, sandwiches and entrees. Interesting and unique menu selections, worth checking out for sure. Lots of space inside. Parking is always tricky on Liberty Ave, but not bad.
The food is delicious and they have high chairs, making it possible for this mama to get breakfast. On a related note, the food came out super fast which is important for the patience level of our crew. We had the croquettes, tasty chicken and shrimp. My husband got the skillet, which had a fabulo
I recently moved to Bloomfield, and stumbled upon Azorean Cafe. The food here is delicious! My favorite dish is the grilled chicken sandwich, it truly taste like a home cooked meal. They also have great coffee and desserts. Definitely recommend this place!
A refreshing little cafe that has some unique Azorean dishes. Also very good breakfast items and some sandwiches. I had a wonderful casserole and had to bring part of it home since it was so large! Highly recommend as a change of pace! The owner and employees are extremely friendly and helpful!
For anyone living in Bloomfield or Shadyside, I'd highly recommend visiting Azorean Cafe. Their menu items have a pleasant familiarity of the classic American breakfasts mixed with unique flavors you would not get from other Pittsburgh breakfast places. We came here and ordered the Chourico Omelett
You won't find any other place like this around Pittsburgh. The coffee they serve is well chosen and made and the sandwiches are unique and delicious. The place is nice and cozy and the service is welcoming and friendly. Thanks for the awesome breakfast!
Kind and quick service! Food is decent and tasty — definitely come to support local businesses! I liked the Paella and the bread items were a bit tougher.
Love this place! Home made bakery items, great coffee, unique breakfast items, attention to detail! Lunch not sure if they have dinner.
We were having lunch next door, and stopped by the Azorean Cafe afterwards. We definitely will be returning. They have a great selection of food which includes a number of vegetarian dishes. Dinners at the Azorean Cafe sound like fun as there is live music, and they allow one to bring one's own bot
Really good supreme omelet with chorizo and sausage. The flavor was unique and something I'd definitely eat again.
Exceptionally tasty, gives a warm feeling as soon as you walk in. Perfect for brunch.🤤
Lovely! Presentation made our brunch feel extra special. They go the extra mile. Pictured: Azorean latte, Bifana with Mac n cheese, egg & chorizo sandwich.
My husband and I were lucky to be azorean cafe’s first wedding catering experience & were so happy with our decision! Elsa and team are so kind (you’ll notice this right away when you stop in for coffee or food) and professional. We were pretty laid back, but she continued to check in and make sure
Fantastic food and service! Ordered the Cod, Au Gratin potato, and cheese casserole and it was amazing. I felt like I had traveled to the Azores and we had only travelled 15 minutes from the house. Will definitely be back again soon.
We had a breakfast of traditional Azorean sandwiches..... Warm Cheese and chorizo on Portuguese rolls. The rolls are special-made by Mediterra Bakery using the owner's recipe. Very good! Home-fries had an added flavor twist...probably Piri Piri sauce. Also yummy. Will go back on a Friday or Saturd
After returning from a trip to Portugal and I was jonesing for some octopus, pastel de nata and a bica (espresso). So I visited Azorean Cafe in the heart of Bloomfield. The staff was pleasant, the service great and the food, awesome! I believe the owner is originally from the Azorean Islands, which
