I just had dinner last night, for the first time, at Storms in Baldwin. It will now be my favorite local restaurant. I would never have expected such wonderful food and service in a little neighborhood establishment. It was a Friday night, so I had made reservations, they took us to our table immediately. The place was packed and had people waiting by the time we left at almost 8:00. We started with the fried zucchini, it was perfect...thin, curled and crispy! I had the chicken piccata, it was delicious! My friend had one of the specials...halibut, prepared English style...she loved it! I was so busy looking at the other meals coming out of the kitchen, that I didn't pay attention to our server's name. I wish I could give her credit here for being one of the best I've ever had wait on me anywhere! I highly recommend Storms...I can't wait to go back!
Storms new location in Baldwin did NOT disappoint! Same great food and service! So glad you are practically in our backyard now! Definitely going to become one of the best new locations for great food in the South Hills!
Love! Love! Love! this restaurant! This is a wonderful asset to the community. I highly recommend reservations during the holidays. I almost always get the chicken picatta. This time I ordered the Storms Greens and Beans. So Good! Great flavor.
We returned home to Burgh from Florida for Xmas week, hit our favorite restaurants in the South Hills and Downtown and decided to try Storms on the last night of the vacation. Wish we would have started here first, this was one of the BEST meals I have ever had in Pittsburgh, just incredible food. It's one of those places you come home and text all your friends about, take your favorite bottle of vino (BYOB) and enjoy!
The Chicken Romano was tender, crisp, but not too "eggy." We added a salad, bread sticks. The almond strawberry torte, which was difficult to resist, was fresh and light.
Bring your own bottle of wine for a great night out!
Love Storms! Great food at a reasonable price. We ordered a few weeks ago for a family get together and everyone loved it! I also order family meals frequently especially the chicken marsala. Best I ever had!
Has been my families favorite place to cater parties for my entire life. The staff is awesome, the manager is super sweet and accommodating, and the food is to die for! I recommend it to all my friends, they have gluten free options, vegetarian friendly options, and the freshest selection of food! If you’re looking for a new favorite spot, check it out. They’re also open for lunch and on Sunday's which is hard to find for truly good food around here!
Our first time at Storms and it was fantastic. Everyone has been telling us to go and I will now be the one recommending this place. Our waitress, Michelle, was excellent. The chef made us a special side of spaghetti with alfredo and it was the best we've ever had. Chicken parmesan was DELICIOUS - not too much cheese and immaculate portions. We will definitely be back!!
Amazing food! Manager was a sweetheart. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s my go to restaurant, not one bad item on the menu. Everything is amazing! I love that it’s a BYOB and a beer store is right across the street. The best of both worlds!
Had dinner with friends last week, first time there, it was delicious! Excellent service, had a great time. The food was so good, I decided to call midweek about Friday take out. The chef actually got on the phone with me and answered my questions. Take out was absolutely delicious had a special request, and it was amazing! Will definitely be making this a regular spot! You owe it to yourself! Superior quality food at fair prices! 👌
My husband and I had the best experience here over the weekend! We love that it is BYOB and the food was super reasonably priced. We got an appetizer, entrees, and dessert. Each course was amazing and the portions generous. We also had incredible service and will definitely be back with family and friends!
Ordered the family dinner. It was delicious and plenty for 5 of us and we still had leftovers. Even with 2 picky kids. They loved the pasta and had extra helpings! Don't miss out on this little gem!
