What a delicious, surprising, satsifying dining experience! Can't wait to go back and try it all! The pairings over delivered in taste and nuance, and the food was so thoughtfully composed.

Excellent spot for a meal or tiny apps. Friendly and attentive staff, will absolutly be visiting again! The buckwheat bread made daily is to die for, as we're the perfectly puffy gnocchi pillows.

Delicious meal at Fish. Bread. Apps. X2 Pasta. Drinks. Too full for dessert but maybe next time. Had very attentive service (granted our guy was in training so a handful of others popped over to check on us). Seating outside was perfect for a summer night of dinner. Reservations weren’t difficult to secure…… just plans in advance. Looking forward to another trip. Also hoping Poulet Bleu re-opens sooner than later (hoping this statement gets additional eyes on it! 🤣)

Visited for the first time this afternoon and enjoyed the quality, creativity, and service provided by this resturant. Staff was friendly and tenative. Pasta was cooked well and unique. My favorite Deshantz resturant yet.

Great place for a date or meeting. Clean, modern, and open restaurant vibe give a cozy yet high-end atmosphere . Their bread appetizer was addicting, and the burata cheese fabulous. The swordfish dish was a bit too salty. Overall price is about $45 per person including tip, tax. I would definitely come again

Went here for my birthday dinner last week and had an amazing time. Great wine/cocktail selection and the food was great.

Fantastic food and ambience! The appetizer bar were so good, especially the focaccia and beef tartare. Their tiramisu is made with something taste like Brie instead of mascarpone, a bit strange but okay.

Went there for a work outing and the food/vibes were great! The cocktails and mocktails were also really good. Will be going back.

After a rather disappointing experience last week at sister restaurant Gi-Jin, I was curious to see what things would be like at Fish nor Fowl. All I can say is WOW! The dinner was simply exceptional and this is now my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. The beef tartare, mafaldine, meatballs and tiramisu were mouthwatering. The wine list was very good and the Barolo did not disappoint. The foccacia was of course delicious though if I’m being picky I would like to see that included and not charged as a menu item. Jesse our waiter was phenomenal and the whole ambiance was perfect- understated, sleek and fun. Cannot wait to go back and try more things on the menu. This is a lot coming from someone who doesn’t even usually love Italian food. :)

Courteous and discreet service in an intimate space that was beautifully appointed. Have noticed swordfish appearing on menus again, and they served it at Fish nor Fowl, too. In the old days, swordfish was often served as a dry puck; not so here. The fish was tender and moist, with a deliciously crisp exterior made of a delightful seasoning mix. The tiramisu was enough to share, capped off with a fine cup of espresso.

The food here has been fantastic every time. This is a great spot for a more upscale meal. Get the bone marrow risotto. Can't say enough good about the quality of the food here. That said, and I'm not taking stars away for this, but I don't love being seated at a community table, especially when there's only one in the whole restaurant because you feel like you drew the short straw, and it was hard to avoid hearing every word of the conversation happening next to us. One time I came here i had a great cozy table upstairs, and would much prefer that given the choice. Not the end of the world.
