Osaka, a longtime favorite of ours, is under new ownership and dine in is open again. Though I really miss the old owners (you’ll still see some of the original staff), the sushi remains a favorite of ours. There are several new rolls that have been added, and much of the original sushi menu remains
What a wonderful treat! Excellent food...I mean EXCELLENT. I had the best hot and sour soup I've had in decades. Our server Jenny was lovely and even told us wonderful stories about her childhood. I can't say enough good things! Did I mention the food was EXCELLENT??? I'll be back!
This is the best Chinese food I have ever had! The General Tsos had amazing quality chicken and was really crispy. The sauce was excellent too. I tried a bunch of dishes with the group I was with and everything was awesome. The owner is really nice too. I will absolutely be coming back here.
My partner and I eat here frequently and it’s always lovely. The food is great and the staff are really nice. I really recommend the family style bean curd which is in the second picture. Highly recommend for a dinner experience with friends or family!
Used to go here all the time when I lived nearby. I now live in NYC and have yet to find American-style Chinese food this good. I will come back to Pittsburgh just to eat here. It’s an awesome place.
Ive been eating at Osaka for atleast two years now and I can say, with confidence, that their sushi is some of the best in the area. Always fresh tasting, with a higher quality feel, and always presented well. It’s one of the few places in this area that I can order Tamago with my sushi.

This was probably some of the best food I've had in so long. The serving was an amazing amount and I'm so glad I got to bring some home to enjoy. The workers are very sociable and kind and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. So so so good!
I've been in Osaka restaurant today. The susi plate was very nice and carefully made. I really like their flavors. I think it's the best susi restaurant in Pittsburgh.
Food was delicious, service was fast, and the wait staff were very kind. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the area!
